    Hi Qan,
My opinion is that racism is not genetic, nor is sexism, nor is any other ‘ism’. Why? Because the underlying issue at hand is that ‘isms’ are simply sweeping generalizations. And making sweeping generalizations is just intellectual laziness; it is ‘easier’ to make a sweeping generalization than it is to spend additional time and effort to fully explain both sides of an issue. You can get your point across in far fewer words with generalizations. It is like saying some day we will not use statistics (which are just numeric generalizations). Humans are lazy and making generalizations is a very convenient shortcut to making a point. Laziness and convenience has nothing to do with genetics.

    To Others,
As far as USA sucking, apparently people today have virtually no understanding of history or facts. Here are some USA postage stamps from 1943-1944 honoring countries which the USA saved from the Nazis in WW2. If USA sucks so much, what would have happened to these countries if US had not joined in WW2?

And speaking of history, why is Black Lives Matter boycotting white owned businesses this year? Does BLM understand that over 100,000 white people died in the Civil War fighting to end slavery? My family owns a business and we have a relatives who fought and died fighting in the Union Army AND we employee a number of black people. Yet people will boycott our business just because of our skin color? Martin Luther King is spinning in his grave.

Want some facts? There are more Democrat millionaires than Republican millionaires. Fortune magazine ran an article which listed out the top 20 areas for blacks to live and own businesses. 17 of the 20 were all in Southern states, not anyplace close to the Democrat run northeast cities or areas. And all those ‘racist’ statues that some feel most be pulled down, do they realize that the vast majority of the statues are actual Democrats? And what is this stupidity with ‘cops shooting black people’? Here is a link to police shootings, the source is the Washington Post (obviously not a right leaning publication).

    https://github.com/washingtonpost/data-police-shootings

Download the CSV data and run the number yourself instead of relying on CNN and MSNBC. I filtered out just 2016 (last full year of data), filtered on ‘unarmed’, and filtered out white people. The total number of unarmed, non-white people shot by cops in 2016 was 26. 26 people! Not thousands. Not hundreds. But if you listen to the media and leftists they make it sound like cops are gunning down non-whites every hour (and out of those 26 we don’t know how many may have had a cell or other item in their hand thought to be a gun). Compare this to how many blacks have killed other blacks in just Chicago in 2016.

So I must disagree qan .. If you believe you are racist.. feel bad and fix it! No one should want to be a racist or excuse that type behaviour in my book. I think it didn't provide overall benefits also.. the open minded tribes who could meet, greet, trade and learn from new cultures usually were the ones who came out ahead. Also being exclusionary and prejudice could have caused unneeded violence and wars. That behavior could literally destroy your entire tribe too. Genes get stronger the more you mix too.
Think you may've skipped past some of the nuance in what I posted. May help to read it again. I certainly wasn't embracing racism. But like sexuality, what I'm saying is that some evidence suggests there is indeed a genetic component to it. (Citation needed, definitely. I'll see if I can dig it up.)

Racist behavior isn't at all useful in the modern day. So, yes, I agree, it should generally be combated. However, that doesn't mean it didn't confer an advantage in certain situations, leading to it being passed on. In your example, the meet and greet tribes were probably on the whole more successful (and having the added advantage provided by new biological material intermixing). But they were also sometimes wiped out entirely by a new disease that they lacked immunity to. More closed off/racist tribes would not be as successful generally, but they'd avoid the disease. Both are successful, but in different situations and for different reasons.

The point is: it provided some advantage in certain situations, so it was passed on. It's not perfect or good because of that. For example, the eye provides an advantage, even though it has to flip the image due to poor "design," and any creator designing it would certainly not have made that choice. It's not about overall benefits, as you mention. Obviously racism is not beneficial in the days of vaccines and massive cultural integration. Currently it's almost a pure detriment to your ability to mate and reproduce. As a result, it's probably a trait that we will gradually see wiped out over the next 500 years or so, unless something changes that makes it beneficial again.

Haven't heard about the correlation between low IQ and racism and even conservativism -- sounds quite far-fetched and I'd need to see some proof -- but it does remind me of something very interesting I'd come across: racism may be genetic (and therefore hereditary) and came about because it provided evolutionary advantage in some cases.

Racism is not so much a belief as a feeling. Racism is associated with the feeling of disgust. The evolutionary advantage to having disgust for people from other lands and cultures in pre-vaccination times is in avoiding disease to which you have no immunity. It's pretty simple: those who stay away from the "strange ones" also don't catch their diseases. And therefore survive, and pass on their genes. (Obviously there are successful humans who don't carry this trait, and have also reproduced. But it doesn't mean that racism is not evolutionarily advantageous in some situations.)

Racism also correlates somewhat with cleanliness and orderliness. Hitler was quite the neat freak, as an example. His issue was an exaggerated sense of disgust.

In other words, if you believe you're racist, don't feel so bad about it. Like almost all of who you are, you have little choice in the matter. (Well, in my opinion, absolutely none -- but few people will even entertain the possibility of the lack of free will.) You can take comfort in the fact that it provided your ancestors with some benefit, even if it does almost nothing in 2017 but make you look like a prick.

I could easily refute you but choose not to because it is obvious your little brain can't wrap itself around who I am. I will say on average Transgendered people are MORE intelligent than the general populace. You have zero clue what you are talking about. Do you know any trans people in real life? We are just like anyone else.

Must be female Jessup today, using emotions instead of facts and links. I mean, you think you can be more than one gender for instance, that is fairly low IQ

    Great update Dierienow!!

Can you believe this recent tax cut and the sham they are pulling on the American people?? The average tax cut for a family is 100 dollars TOTAL. These retards in power literally have the gall to make this huge deal and base entire elections touting their tax cut plans and how they are going to help families. Then they throw literally a few bucks at you and expect it and make everyone happy and continue to vote for them. 100 frikkin bucks.. While the corporations are absconding with trillions and refuse to even raise the minimum wage. It is beyond insulting to me how the corporate agenda is right in our faces and yet working people still fall for voting for these evil turds to stay in power..it's baffling.. almost like they are mind controled. Anyways I enjoyed your post.. kthx should have stuck with wb because his political views are retardooo
