Ok, heres the roadblocks that are in the way of this plan making any sense

Even if we finish the season on the 6th, quarterfinals 13th, semis 20th then you wait till after the break to play the finals??

There are 5 squads that are playing for 3 playoff spots. It is very possible that there will need to be a 3+ team tiebreak played to determine at least one of those spots.

LJ and LB can easily be completed by playing 6th, 13th, 20th, but I would recommend pushing the entirety of the LD playoffs back until after the breaks with the tentative schedule of the 6th being week 10 and the 13th being week 11. If a tiebreak is needed that can be played on the 20th, instead of trying to just rush and get this over with. Otherwise you're going to be likely playing week 10/11 on the 6th, tiebreak/quarters on the 13th, and the semis/finals on the 20th, which will have players forced to be on here for the majority of their sunday afternoons those days.

Being in a position where there's no chance in hell of doing much other than potentially playing the spoiler, I'll throw in my two cents.


Play two games on the 6th. If there's a tie, schedule it sometime during the week. Or schedule it for right after the games are completed on the 6th. But I really dig the idea of quarters on the 13th, semis on the 20th and the finals 2 weeks after that... has a very NFL feel to it... plus the week gap between semis and finals will help to emphasize the importance of those games and will help to even hype them up some. So regardless of how the rest of the season plays out, at least hold back the finals by a week and hype the crap out of them. Make people want to see these games. You can draw crowds of at least 100 to each of them if you do so.

personally, i'm ok with playing 2 games on the 6th, even if it's the independence day. why there's a break on thanksgiving is beyond me, but I don't really care. then again, I do not speak for all of Fatal and havent received an answer from River and Terian yet, so I don't know what we want.
