  • running windows on mac

    got one of the new mac osx laptops, 15.4" widescreen.

    i want to dual run, problem is i dunno how to do it, do i need all that microsoft shite on cd?

    Here's Apple's guide to getting windows XP to run on Mac. Your mac has to be intel-based, it won't work otherwise. And you do need a copy on Windows XP, obviously.

      why would you want to taint a mac with windows?
      i've been debating for several months because i've been inactive on ss...but its just not worth it

        i just want to know about the possibility. i've been inactive from ss for about year now.. not that anyone notices.

        besides, even if i did have windows, the uni server would not let me play.

          It's possible. You'll need a valid copy of Windows XP.

          It's running Windows without emulation or anything so Continuum and any other Windows program or game runs just like it does on any other install.
