Why lock the arena 10 seconds before start? The result is you have to wait til start then !late and hope no1 gets spawned and you get penalized 1 death.

The reason for this is mostly technical. The bot has to load stats for everyone, and then it starts the game after it verifies they're all loaded. The code for !late was added after this base functionality was written, so it's kind of pieced together. Basically, it needs the game to be already started in order to work properly.

But, !late will soon start working from the 2nd largest number of deaths (except when the starting game is 1v1), so you shouldn't risk losing a death due to someone getting spawned.
