Forgive me for being slightly exasperated here. It's been a rough week for me, extremely overworked. I may have misunderstood you.

I'm guess I'm not sure why you didn't just leave the squad. You don't have to be on a squad to own it. There are people who own literally thousands of squads. You're a long-time player so I assumed that, like almost everyone else here, you knew that. You could also have passed ownership on to someone else on the squad.

Fortunately, TWD squads aren't removed from the system. It's a reversible process. I just need a roster and about a half hour.

Qan I explained to you Jebass and Alextron have both retired who were our other 2 captains. I was unwilling to have the squad having two captains sitting rostered who have quit the game with no way to accept me back on if at some stage in the future the squad is brought back. This was the whole reason I was being so thorough asking about all these TWD features and how they worked. I've been a cap of paladen so long I never had dealt with this stuff.

If you don't want me to recreate the squad, Jessup, accept the responsibility for dissolving, because you are accepting the dissolve a second time by rejecting this offer. I work pretty tirelessly for this zone and it's mostly a thankless job. This isn't treating me very well at all.

If not then put it on the list in twd. If I can reapply it to twd leave it dissolved.

Paladen is 21 years old you dum dum. I killed nothing. Time did. Jebass and I both agreed when he retired it was probably time to let it go... for now. Someday.. the second coming may happen but who knows.

Yep, though it would be under a new ID. Considering it's a legacy squad, though, it would be better to use the same ID/same history, so if you'd like to do it that way when the time comes, drop me a line. Takes all of 5 minutes, much easier than rebuilding a roster.

This was confusing enough that I took the time to review my ?message log. (Would be great to have a program that automatically logs your ?message history with many people based on your logs -- any programmers out there interested? Would cut back on a lot of these confused conversations.)

I was a bit annoyed that you were suggesting I wronged you and the TW community as a result of jumping the gun on this. After reviewing the message log, I think I did act too hastily and did not ask for a final confirmation, instead inferring from what you'd said in earlier messages about wanting to dissolve based on the fact that you wanted to be able to play TWD on other squads and thus did not think simply removing everyone from the roster would be sufficient. I'll send you the full conversation in PM. Fortunately everything's come out just as it should. But I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

As for the inevitable trolls: I'd just tell people to kick rocks and accept the fact that you are under no obligation to run Paladen. You've run it many times over the years, but you don't have to keep doing so now. You really don't owe them an explanation.

I took the squad off TWD for the time being due to inactivity. I refuse to go into the full list of reasons why on this particular thread as it is obviously a goddamn hit piece on me by some fool who doesn't know wtf he is talking about and appears to have the intention of just smearing my name rather than truly showing any form of appreciation of Paladen.

I will probably post my own thread explaining why but will do it on my own terms and refuse to do so on this idiots thread.

I will say I asked qan the mechanics of how to leave a squad you own and play for another squad using that same name. We got into discussing the dissolve button option and how that worked and if the squad could remain on TWD ladder with me owning it still and play elsewhere. We traded multiple back and forth messages because I was very concerned about how the mechanics worked and did not want Paladen being permanently removed with no chance ever of going back as a TWD squad in the future if the desire and will was there for a return.

After many back and forths Qan messaged me back saying he did not realize this was what I had been asking him and then took it upon himself to dissolve the squad on his own without my full consent. I was shocked when I saw he did this as this was the whole reason I was asking him so thoroughly about these mechanics and had planned to do them myself in all probability if I couldn't play elsewhere and own the squad and keep it on the ladder at the same time.

When I logged in hellrazor was like wtf did qan dissolve the squad?? I said to hellrazor I have no clue and was shocked and a little angry qan did it when at no point in time did I specifically ask qan to take this action upon himself. Within 10 minutes of some time thinking about it though I came to the conclusion it was just a misunderstanding and probably for the best. I am not mad at qan as I truly think he misunderstood why I was so thoroughly asking him about all the functions. I have not publicly blamed him nor trash talked him for doing this in the zone in any shape or form. I did express on Paladen chat I was shocked he took it upon himself to do it though. I even thought myself, you know maybe this will keep the trolls down too since qan did it. Of course we see no matter what one will come out of the woodwork and try and try to paint me in a bad light even with my 13 years complete commitment to the squad lol . So sad and mean how people are in this game. Unsure how some of you live with yourself. :\

Please read the bolded text. I flat out said what I as owner decided and was doing on my first reply once your name was brought up. I am not the one blaming you in any way and I don't get why you think I am. I think we had a misunderstanding but the fact is I at no time asked you to dissolve the squad yourself for me.. I was asking about how the dissolve features worked so I could do that myself as the owner. As I said I was going to do it anyways and it helped push this hard decision for me to finalize it which I am fine with.

I would have come to you personally if I had an issue about the end result and immediately demanded you reverse it but in the end it is what I wanted to do with it for now. Yep, check your PMs. Basically, the situation you presented left no other option than to dissolve, and I didn't ask for a final confirmation, instead reading in to it too much. If we'd had 2-3 more messages back and forth the outcome would probably have been the same. I'm overall fine with how it turned out, and glad you're also OK with it.

Paladen is basically on hiatus, can come back whenever you'd like -- just let me know and we'll rig it up again with the old history.

I'll again talk about me, to say, my trashtalk toward you is only based on "feud" we had and went at a moment I was really mad at you. Indeed I would exchange you for nobody at Zone Owner, at best someone else would do lot of stuff at the beginning then would threaten to stop when someone is unhappy with what is done. And would probably stop after some time because it's thankless and blahblahblah. At least you you take the trash, complained when you are bored, sure, but keep doing the work and never let down the game. We aren't best friend but I'll never deny anymore the good work you do here, as I did when I was new and knew nothing. You're doing good and would appreciate you to continue.

Concerning Jessup, yeah people hate him too much. I'm myself to be blamed. Also it is true that people suddenly care for Paladen while they never put a feet on the team. They would have rather stop playing than play for Paladen, let's be honest here. Also Cripple post is only to stir the shit up.

ok lets just get the facts out of the way, cripple is a good baser, but he claims he is a cop, and has committed crimes on this game, I have witnessed him say he wants renzi raped, and beaten to death, calls people pedophiles ect.. very disgusting, renzi is a claimed pedophile, jessup is actually a decent human being who happens to be targeted because he is trans, and qan is an incompentent staff leader who allows stuff like this to happen monthly.
