  • HoN-- DTD Week 3

    Paddington vs Fish
    50-43

Potentially coming up as a surprise to few, it was not LaSenza being the anchor for Paddington, rather TIny. TIny started the game on fire, leading the way to an overall collected effort to oust Fish with a fair support of zidane at 11-8. Vys and morph had a late push and tried to bring back the game late in a 2 man effort, but it was a little too late.

    Hot: Tiny (13-10), vys (15-10), morph (13-10)
Not: Zizzo (3-10), Sprackle (4-10) The fairy tale can only last so long for Sprack. As the leader of the team in Zizzo, these types of numbers did not help Fish's efforts and would need to look to regroup.

    Haze vs Win or Die
    50-49

Heartbreaking loss for WoD, as their captain found himself in a 1v2 with everyone on 9 deaths. Successfully picking off the 6*, RaCka couldn't get the job done as Ra brought him down to seal the win for Haze in a very well balanced game overall. FA pickups dele and Poseidon had strong outings, showing that they still got it in ship 1. (this is about where I entered to watch the game).

    Hot: Delectable (12-10, 3 KOs!), Poseidon (13-10), Wirah (12-10, 2 KOs)
Not: Cape (1-10) Seems like Cape was trying to make his best Glyde impression, but failed ever so slightly.

    Mist vs Pirates
    50-38

Both sides featured their newer acquisitions putting up very respectable numbers across the board, with Pineapple leading the way for the Mistians and his sidekick Tripin, while beam tried his best on the other side. Pirates can only hope to quickly find a solution, as getting beam has seemingly only provided them with directly the opposite result.

Hot: Pineapple Express (15-7, 3 KOs!), Tripin (11-8), Beam (11-10)
Not: J-B-Inc, Skyforger (combined 4-10) Not really the scores they were hoping going into the game I'm sure.

    Gryffindor vs Lag & Luck
    43-50

Game felt like it could have gone either way, as both teams kept it close while Og successfully got the first KO on JAMAL. However, seasoned vet and new FA acquisition Burnt started burning up (get it) and torched Gryffindor so hard that Gryffindor might need the entire pool of the Chamber of Secrets to cool Burnt down.

    Hot: Burnt (16-6, 3 KOs!), Ogron (12-10)
Not: Banks (4-10), JAMAL (4-10) JAMAL took an early breather to distribute water bottles to the rest of his team and give Burnt a well deserved shoulder massage after.

    Paddington vs Lag & Luck
    50-43

The powerhouse stepped it up, almost hitting 20 in a massive effort to edge L&L out. Zid continued his fair outings as a sidekick performer, providing LaSenza with the necessary offense to pick up a solid 2-0 by ironically the same exact final score. Burnt and crip did their part and then some, but the numbers the rest of their team put up proved too hard to overcome.

    Hot: LaSenza (18-7), Zidane (14-9, 2 KOs), Cripple (14-10)
Not: Spectacular (1-6), Ardour (1-6) Ardy seemed so lost when told to hit the showers he probably lost his way there too.

    Gryffindor vs Mist
    50-28

Not really much to say other than the word, BLOWOUT. No Mistian survived past 10 minutes, and when you got someone who doesn't normally play the ship (yeH) putting a respectable + score, you know you've got problems.

    Hot: nowon (14-7, 2 KOs)
Not: The entire Mist lineup. When the team captain goes 6-10 and nobody manages to at least break even, this will probably be a game Mist wants to quickly forget.

    Pirates vs Haze
    43-50

This week seemed to be the day of 50-43 games. Haze came with a well-balanced attack led by trade acquisition Ra to finish the week at another 2-0. Ever since his trade, Pirates have now been a cumulative 0-4. Back to the drawing table for ol Singer.

    Hot: Ra (12-7, 2 KOs), delectable (12-10, 2 KOs)
Not: Major Crisis, Skyforger (combined 3-10) This is not exactly the direction you want to go in attempts to bounce back. Not the strongest showing from sky, having been part of both losses of the week.

    Win or Die vs Fish
    50-44

Cape bounced back fairly nicely after a nothing short of abysmal performance the game prior. Wirah led the way in a silent but deadly fashion to take down a lost Fish team. Poseidon, similar to Burnt, showed his FA value fairly quickly and pitched in a considerable effort. Like the game before, Vys and this time Zizzo tried to put together a comeback push, but a subpar performance from morph and a terrible outing from Myoll proved too deadly.

    Hot: Wirah (15-8, 3 KOs!), Cape (10-10, 2 KOs)
Not: Myollnir (1-6) After complaining about not being added, this will likely be the last time Myoll will be showcased with a bad outing.
