    TWDT-D

    Lag & Luck vs. Paddington
    50-40

7-Star Superstar Cripple (14-8) led Lag & Luck to the victory, fearlessly spearheading the assault ahead of Burnt (12-7), Paky Dude (9-7), JAMAL (8-9) and Ardour (7-9), taking down Paddington by a margin of 10.

Destruct (11-10), Exalt (9-10), Lasenza (9-10), and Spectacular (8-10) were solid, but they likely needed more from their 10-Star TWLD Champion Lasenza, and Zidane (3-10) sunk them with a poor outing.

    HOT: Cripple (14-8)
    HOT: Burnt (12-7)

NOT: Zidane (3-10). Zid couldn't hit the backside of a barn out there, and looked like a Stormtrooper fucked Mr. Magoo.

    Gryffindor vs. Mist
    50-32

Commodo (14-8) led all warbirds in this one with a magnificent performance, as Spezza (12-8), Rasaq (9-4), Ogron (9-7) and Dak made short work of the Mistians, beating them by almost twenty.

Nobody on Flew's team went plus, as Pineapple Express, Jones, Violence, Yoast, BIET, and Fram all struggled.

    HOT: Commodo (14-8)
    HOT: Spezza (12-8)

NOT: BIET (0-4). Biet got himself a sub faster than a high school girl at Jared's Subway Club Summer Camp. Said Jared: "Who wants 6 inches wrapped in plastic? "

    Pirates vs. Haze
    50-34

Pirates had a huge week, clawing their way out of last place to jump into 6th with a 2-win lead over Paddington for the final playoff spot, finishing 4-2 for the week.

It all started with this TWDT-D game against a 7-1 team in Haze, as Singer (15-6) stepped up as the captain of his team and delivered a stunning performance to lead Mythril (10-7), Beam (10-3), Skyforger (11-9), and Murder.

For Haze, Iron Survivor, Ixador, Ra, Rough, and Zapata all negged.

    HOT: Singer (15-6)
    HOT: beam (10-3)

NOT: Ixador (3-10). Here are some IxaDos and IxaDon'ts:

    Fish vs. Win or Die
    50-36

Fish continued their strong season with a win over Win or Die, and with their 16 wins now a full 6 games ahead of 7th, are almost certainly a lock for the playoffs, which is a great story after a rough 2-4 start Week 1. Props for the good captaincy and perseverance of their team.

Vys (11-6), Zizzo (8-2), Sprackle (11-9), aprix (10-7), Bram, and Myollnir (8-7) got the W, made all-the-more impressive by the fact Zizzo helped salvage the game with a key sub-in and a great score.

On the not-so-winning side, WoD saw King Racka (10-10) reach parity, while, Dreamwin, Geio, Poseidon, Unlimited and Wirah falter.

    HOT: Vys (11-6)
    HOT: Zizzo (8-2)

NOT: Unlimited (5-10). Sprint also has an Unlimited plan, but it might be better if Unlimited had a sprint plan, in that whenever someone asks him if he can play, he sprints away from his computer to avoid embarrassing himself.

    Fish vs. Paddington
    50-37

In the second batch of games, Fish continued to fare swimmingly, as Sprackle (16-9) continued to dominate warbird with his broken rating, leading multi-ship threat aprix (12-8), Zizzo (9-8), Myollnir, and Vys to the win.

Lasenza (13-10) was excellent for Paddington, but Exalt, Zidane, and Spectacular's 7-10s were too big of a deficit to overcome. Tiny was the cherry on the turd with a 3-10.

    HOT: Sprackle (16-9)
    HOT: Lasenza (13-10)
    HOT: aprix (12-8)

    NOT: Tiny (3-10).

    Win or Die vs. Haze
    50-49

This was a slobbernocker, or a barnburner, or a rubbernecker, whatever you want to call it, was Win or Die edged our Haze, who were involved in YET ANOTHER 50-49 warbird game, although this time on the losing side.

Unlimited (14-10) had the game of his life, as the 6-Star stunned the crowd and helped his team gain a crucial win, ahead of Geio (12-10), Racka (11-1), Dreamwin, and Wirah, who, despite his 4-9, redeemed himself (and avoids the NOT section by virtue of) by managing to win the game 1v1 and get the final kill.

Zapata (18-10) seems to have a knack for finding himself at the end of 49-49 games, and is having a hell of a season in TWDT-D, almost managing to carry Iron Survivor (12-10), Rough (11-10), Lockdown (6-10) and SpookedOne to the W.

    HOT: Unlimited (14-10)
    HOT: Zapata (18-10)

NOT: SpookedOne (2-10). SpookedOne dropped a SmellyTwo in this one, as his captain looked at the Win or Die lineup, then back at Spooky in his lineup, and said:

    Pirates vs. Mist
    50-27

Pirates sank Mist with aplomb (abomb?) as the cannonballs flew true, winning by a whopping 23.

Singer (12-4) continued his assault on TWDT-D, once again willing his team to victory over the hapless Mistians, along with beam (12-6), Mythril (9-2), Skyforger (10-9), and Murder.

Jones, Mikkiz, Pineapple Express, Yoast, Fram, Flew, and BIET all found themselves stuffed into Davy Jones' Locker at Pirate High.

    HOT: Singer (12-4)
    HOT: beam (12-6)
    HOT: Mythril (9-2)

NOT: Flew (5-10). Much like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, in the draft most of the good players flew over this cuckoo's nest, as a team bereft of talent will be fighting for its life over the final 12 games of the season.

    Gryffindor vs. Lag & Luck
    50-35

Ogron (20-6) went Super Saiyan in this one, leading Rasaq (11-6), Spezza, Dak, and Commodo to victory over Lag & Luck.

Cripple (10-10) continued his strong play in warbird, but was the only player to reach parity on the losing side, along with Ardour, Burnt, JAMAL, Paky Dude and Trasher.

    HOT: Ogron (20-6)
    HOT: Rasaq (11-6)

NOT: Ardour (5-10). I don't really have anything to say, I let my play do the talking.

    Win or Die vs. Paddington
    50-41

uprise (15-9) flashed his jav chops in this one, singing Paddington with a sizzling performance despite being a lowly 7-Star (what Tiny refers to as "the help").

Ditto Jurassic (13-9), another plebian 7-Star javelin showing his talent off, with Dreamwin (10-8), Racka, and Sea Bass in tow.

Paddington desperately needed the win in their strongest league, but fell just short, with only Zidane (10-10) hitting 1:1, as Destruct, Midoent, Spectacular, and Tiny couldn't get it done, despite it being a close affair.

    HOT: uprise (15-9)
    HOT: Jurassic (13-9)

NOT: Spectacular (5-10). Spectacular failed spectacularly, and Destruct (6-10) self-destructed, so the names are still technically on point, much in the way Jurassic is a million years old and has tiny t-rex arms that barely reach his keyboard.

    Lag & Luck vs. Haze
    50-29

Trasher (14-6) scorched Haze in a blowout, leading Ardour (11-6), JAMAL (9-5), Burnt, and Mean Gene to the promised land.

On the losing side, Hulk, Big Sean, Iron, Letdown, Ra, and Zapata all negged horribly, failing to collectively hit 30.

    HOT: Trasher (14-6)
    HOT: Ardour (11-5)

NOT: Iron, Zapata, Letdown, Ra, Hulk, big Sean. Like a shitty version of the Borg, the only things these bozos assimilated were space herpes getting assfucked by Lag & Luck.

    Mist vs. Gryffindor
    50-41

Amnesti (14-10) showed out against Gryffindor, leading Fram, Jones, Mikkiz, and Poid to the win.

The game was close when Turban subbed in and went 5-0, as the renowned truth-teller and very honest person who definitely doesn't show every week after claiming a Limited Showrate every season, turned the tides of battle.

Kira (11-10) had a nice game, but despite solid play from Commodo and Yeh, lost by 9 alongside Rab and Davy. Spezza subbed in late but it wasn't enough.

    HOT: Amnesti (14-10)
NOT: Rab (2-5). The only thing Rab successfully blew up was the vein in Ogron's forehead.

    Fish vs. Pirates
    50-48

Vys (18-9) looked like Godzilla out there, as he and Zizzo (8-9) managed to clutch an exciting 2v2 at 48-48 to get the W.

Sprackle (11-10), Aprix, and Raples also contributed to varying degrees, with Raples 5-10 being a degree in philosophy in terms of contribution.

Mythril (15-10) was superb in the loss, leading Singer (11-10), Beast, Kim, and Skyforger in the narrow loss.

    HOT: Vys (18-9)
    HOT: Mythril (15-10)

NOT: Skyforger (4-10). Skyforger played badly. Water is wet. Next.

    Win or Die vs. Pirates
    50-35

uprise (17-9) continued his miracle Sunday, despite having only played 6 elim rounds this year, leading Jurassic (13-10), Dreamwin, Racka, and Sea Bass to the win.

Singer (11-10) was the only player on Pirates to go plus, as Beast, Kim, Mythril, and Skyforger negged.

    HOT: uprise (17-9)
    HOT: Jurassic (13-10)

NOT: Skyforger (4-10). No, I didn't accidentally copy and paste the last not. These were independent, back-to-back 4-10s. Some newbies improve over time. Others are named Skyforger.

Don't worry about it, though, you've only played 547 games of elim this year.

    uprise has played 6.

    #MyStalkerSucksAtThisGame

    Fish vs. Mist
    50-44

Raples (12-8), Zizzo (11-8), Vys, Sprackle, and Aprix kept the good times going, taking down mist in a competitive match that went the distance.

For the losing team, Turban (8-4) was the only player to do well, despite some good play from Mikkiz, Fram, and Jones, whilst Amnesti and Poid struggled.

    HOT: Raples (12-8)
    HOT: Zizzo (11-8)

NOT: Poid (3-10). After a dookie 4-7 in an earlier win before hiding his atrocious play with a bunch of kills playing 5v2 when the game was already over, Poid continued his shit play in this one with a 3-10.

Hope you get that other client going so you can at least be relevant in one game.

    Gryffindor vs. Lag & Luck
    50-36

Spezza (12-7), Kira_Yamato~ (10-5), Ogron (10-9), Paradise (10-10), and Commodo put in a balanced effort to take down the top-seeded TWDT-J team in the league, pushing their 8-1 record to 8-2 in convincing fashion.

Despite it being a competitive match early on, Lag & Luck failed to produce a single positive score, with Trasher, Mean Gene, JAMAL, Cripple, Burnt, and Ardour unable to achieve parity.

    HOT: Spezza (12-7)
    HOT: Kira (10-5)

NOT: Burnt (1-5). Burnt got abused then replaced faster than the kid in Changeling.

    Paddington vs. Haze
    50-31

Zidane (14-3) kept Paddington's season alive in this trouncing, ahead of Tiny (12-5), Spectacular (10-4), Destruct (10-9), and Midoent.

Iron Survivor (10-10) was staunch in his resilience, but couldn't keep Big Sean, delectable, Lockdown, Ra, Rough, and Zapata's fingers out of the electrical sockets.

    HOT: Zidane (14-3)
    HOT: Tiny (12-5)
    HOT: Spectacular (10-4)

NOT: Rough (4-7). Rough tried to be a power sub, but ended up as a power bottom.

      TWDT-B

      Gryffindor vs. Win or Die
      15-1

Gryffindor put an end to the last undefeated record in the league, as Win or Die's 8-0 streak ended in thunderous fashion.

Ogron (22-0) aced ahead of Commodo (3.2 RPD) and Markmrw (3.1 RPD), as the duo's play on Spider in TWBD has paid massive dividends, with their chemistry on-point and timing crisper than a pizza-flavored Pringle on a dewy Autumn morning.

Spezza (62-19), Rab (74-18), and Rasaq (72-26) were merciless, while Banks and Kira were stalwart under.

The legendary Cape (16-10) terred ahead of last week's Sharks of the Week Nipple Nibbler and Joeses.

In spider, Win or Die fielded Dreamwin, Jurassic, Skatarius, Poseidon, and Unlimited.

      HOT: Rasaq (72-26, 5 Teks!!)
      HOT: Commodo & Markmrw
      HOT: Ogron (22-0)

      Lag & Luck vs. Paddington
      15-3

Lag & Luck routed Paddington in short order, with Trasher (21-1) terring ahead of JAMAL (3.1 RPD) and Mean Gene (3.0 RPD) in shark.

Cripple (98-19), Burnt, Afghan, BLT_12, and Pure_Luck were in ship 3.

For the bears, Thix and Tiny terred, to varying degrees of unsuccess. Oder and Zidane sharked.

Shayde, Midoent, Destruct, Spectacular, and Yojimbo spidered.

      HOT: Cripple (98-19)
      HOT: Trasher (27-1)
      HOT: JAMAL & Mean Gene

      Haze vs. Mist
      15-10

Haze clinched the top seed in TWDT-B this week by the skin of their teeth, improving to 9-1 for the season and passing Win or Die (8-2) and Gryffindor (7-3).

Spooky (36-5) terred in front of Hulk (2.9 RPD) and Willby (2.9 RPD), while Ra (102-62) led all spiders, ahead of Lockdown (96), Ixador, Rough, and Zapata.

For Mist, Mikkiz (38-8) terred, protected by Violence and GLYDE. Public Assassin (84), BIET, Amnesti, Turban, and Poid featured in spider.

      HOT: Ra (102-62)
      HOT: Hulk & Willby
      HOT: Lockdown (96-45)

NOT: Poid. Poid failed to go positive and sunk his team by warbirding with all the grace and accuracy of a Silvan Elf... with cerebral palsy.

      #PubbersBelongInPub

      Pirates vs. Fish
      15-12

Pirates continued their strong play in climbing up the ladder, showing the tenacity and will of potential champions (but probably not), as they downed Fish in a tough battle.

skyforger (44-6) terred ahead of Mythril (3.0 RPD) and Rodney, as the peg-legged pilots took the game by 3 minutes.

Henry Saari (96), Lupin (96), Bellflowers, Major Crisis, Murder, and Singer were in for the winning side.

Fish featured Zizzo (55-6) putting in another stellar performance in terrier, unfortunately falling short behind Sprackle and Bram in shark.

aprix (109), Raples (100), Bacon, clay, and Vys fought the good fight for the Fishies.

      HOT: Mythril & Rodney
      HOT: Lupin (96-56)
      HOT: aprix (109-59)

      Gryffindor vs. Paddington
      15-7

Ogron (28-3) terred ahead of Commodo (3.0 RPD) and Markmrw once again, as Gryffindor has now won 4 straight in TWDT-B to improve to 7-3.

Spezza (105-35) led all spiders in this one, as Davy (94), Holy Ship, Terminator 17.5 and Anonym were no slouches.

Paddington made this competitive against a team firing on all cylinders (and one that trounced Win or Die 15-1), finally lagout free and featuring the majority of their basers, and showed their potential in TWDT-B, despite the 0-10 start. In the unlikely event they make a big push over the last 12 games of the season and clinch the 6-Seed, they could be dangerous in several leagues.

Thix (40-7) terred very well, quarterbacking Zidane (3.0 RPD) and Oder in shark, and Shayde (86), Midoent (79), Spectacular, Destruct, and Tiny in spider.

      HOT: Spezza (105-35)
      HOT: Davy (94-40)

      Pirates vs. Win or Die
      15-14:20

This was an exciting 15-14 match, with Pirates and WoD exchanging multiple leads late, and Win or Die looking like they were going to improve to 9-1 late holding cram with 14:20 in time, but Pirates broke through in the final moments of the game, running Racka's team over and claiming the flag along with the Tek.

Major Crisis (47-9) terred behind Mythril and Rodney in ship 8.

Lupin (101) seems to be having a breakout year in spider, earning a starting spot under on Spastic's TWLB team and looking sharp in TWDT-B and putting up big numbers, as he led Henry, Skyforger, Bellflowers, Murder to the W.

Cape (45-10) ran around in the red ship as Nipple Nippler and Joe did their best to keep him alive.

Skatarius (106), Jurassic (104), Dreamwin (96), Sakke, and Racka spidered.

      HOT: Skatarius (106-50)
      HOT: Lupin (101-59)
      HOT: Jurassic (104-61)

      Haze vs. Fish
      15-14:52

Haze somehow managed to win ANOTHER 15:00-14:52 match, after managing one against Gryffindor only two weeks ago, with those combined 16 seconds providing a massive 3-game swing against Gryffindor in potential playoff seeding. Bonkers!

This was another thriller, with Haze featuring SpookedOne (32-7) in terr ahead of Hulk and Willby in shark.

Ra (123), Lockdown (116), Rough (112), Zapata and Ixador spidered for the victors.

Fish fell by 8 seconds, despite Zizzo (45-5) looking good in terrier, and Sprackle and Bram providing decent protection.

Meanwhile, aprix (112), Bacon (99), Raples, Hellrazor, and Vys spidered.

      HOT: Ra (123-74)
      HOT: Rough (112-53)
      HOT: Zizzo (45-5)

NOT: Hellrazor (78-92). Negging in spider in a 30 minute game is something I didn't think possible, but then again I didn't think it was possible to write a worse final season than LOST, but here we are.

      Lag & Luck vs. Mist
      15-6

Finally, Lag & Luck slapped Mist, with Cripple (115) going nuts ahead of afghan (94), Mercede$, Pure_Suck, and Spacedust.

Trasher (22-5) terred in front of JAMAL and Mean Gene.

Mist fielded BIET, Kira (on loan from Gryffindor), Poid, Public Assassin, and Turban.

Mikkiz (19-13) terred ahead of GLYDE and Violence, which sounds like a fun experience.

      HOT: Cripple (115-30)
      HOT: afghan (94-37)
      HOT: JAMAL & Mean Gene

NOT: The writers from Game of Thrones. Seriously, HOW CAN YOU BE THAT BAD!

Whilst reading the Hot or Not I thought "how does anyone get to sub in turban and not violate the 40* limit?".

                9 Amnesti
                8 fram
                7 Jones
                7 Mikkiz
? Poid <- Not on anyone's roster on the TWDT-J teams sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1560990891

If Poid is 7*, the total for this lineup is: 38
If Poid is 8*, the total for this lineup is: 39

I thought: "What should Poid's rating be? IMO he consistently beats me, and I'm 7*, so Poid should be 8* "

Sub: fram out (-8) turban in (+10)

If Poid is 7*, after sub, the total for this lineup is: 40
If Poid is 8*, after sub, the total for this lineup is: 41

                Let's consult the rules:

Only players already rated in the draft are eligible to be borrowed.
He's not in the main draft rating sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...9p8/edit#gid=0
He's in the FA forum thread: He was rated 8* and then changed to a 7* LOL: https://forums.trenchwars.com/forum/...ignups-ratings
So who actually drafted him in FA then? .. 11. Mist - POiD ... sigh.

                fun times.

Great work as per usual Ogron.

We were lacking the best shark Morph, subbed by one of our best spider, Bram, and me to sub Bram and WE BEAT HAZE, the #1 in base. Apparently I had to guess that the flag can go crazy, but we aren't in need of wins so they can keep it. Our team is going to reach is potential for playoffs, in all leagues. Concerning my performance yeah I've been terrible I probably signed my end of season on the field, all I can say is starting from now I will literaly play like Henry Saari, and I give no shit if my captain/future captain tell me to push. Base is shit, in addition to all the lag cheaters like in other leagues, there's some bugs you have to guess or you get rekt. I'm disgusted but I'm looking forward to add some medals to my profile because we definitely have a great team in the 3 leagues.

                      Good stuff OG.

I deserved a not for going 1-5 in my first few minutes of wb this season. Y u spare me my friend.

Last match we lost by a flagjupe which happened right after we kicked haze out of the flagroom. (well, plus they got back in before we set up a defense, but that would've been too late without the jupe)
Not of that game: flagjupe for still existing in 2019.

Whoever rammed the mine deserves the not, but losing to jupes does really suck... think its happened to most people a few times.

Good read and thanks for doing this Og

Yeah pretty bitter ending to a nice game... To be accurate it doesn't necessarily need to be ramming mines. Just dying on the flag does the trick. Ramming mines is usually the easiest way tho :P
lemar> im seriously gonna get someone to hack your name and disolve that shit sqd of yours

Good read. I don't get the sprinting away thing when I have showed to each and every league match this last year and always ready to play, but regardless a little funny I guess.. and damn 5-10 warrants a NOT, news to me.. good read, though.

                              Thanks fellas!

Rab, I don't see any grounds for an appeal. Poid was rated 7/7/7 and picked by Mist. The oversight of him not being on the star sheet is mine, and I've fixed it and added him. I don't see how Mist would be responsible for that. They beat us fair and square.

Unlimited, I think 5-10 is around the NOT cutoff? Generally speaking, I think 6-10 is the safety level to avoid one. 5-10 is a 1:2 ratio, that's pretty bad. It's just that often someone does worse than 5-10, so when you put up that score, you rarely end up with the NOT. I still think it's definitely fair game.

As to everyone commenting on the jupe, I sadly can't watch the matches since they're all at the same time. I can give specifics about games involving Gryffindor, or the tail-end of matches that i happened to catch if our games end early. That's an unfortunate turn of events; Qan says there's no way to code it out. Happened Round 1 of the Basing Cup Finals, too, and altered the result.

Obviously the Hot or Not would be better if I could watch all the games and not be so reliant on the box scores, but alas, tis not possible.

Definitely been a bunch of great basing games lately, though.

Haze winning a pair of games 15:00-14:52 is pretty incredible. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Hulk is soooooo good in shark. I mean a few of us knew this years ago reaching the TWDT-B 2015 finals with him in shark and winning the TWDT-B 2017 finals with him, but he's somehow stayed a bit under the radar because he mained spider in TWLB every season.

Winning TWLB and leading Haze to a 9-1 start in TWDT-B this year has really put his shark on the map. Mattey was our best player IMO, and Hulk being able to step up and fill those giant shoes is pretty incredible.

Spastic tryna Kawhine n' dine him and lure him away this off-season -- hands off!
