cod4 was good, but modern warfare 2 is supposed to be pretty bad... made by some other company so they cannot call it call of duty anymore

I thought Modern Warfare II is made by Activision, just like COD4. The way I understand it Activision and another group switch off producing the COD games. Activision made COD4, some other gaming group did COD5 and MW2 will return to Activision.

I could be wrong, but I thought that's how it works.

Infinity Ward is making modern warfare 2. They made the original cod, cod 2 and cod 4. All the award winning games. Treyarch makes the crapier ones like cod 3 and cod 5.

The same team that made/worked on cod 4 is working on cod 6, it's Infinity Ward.

Actually, Infinity Ward has even decided to stop calling their games "Call of Duty" and instead use "Modern Warfare". This way customers wont confuse their great games with Treyarch's pieces of crap. This is what I think you were confused by exalt.

Activision owns the rights to Call of Duty. Treyarch and Infinity Ward were both using the name but developing completely separate games.

Just don't buy Shaun White: World Tour and you're in the clear. James Cameron's Avatar looks like it might be an epic fail, the only thing halfway decent coming up is Assassins Creed 2. Splinter Cell number 5 is going to be just as boring and slow paced as the first four, I expect the same shit game for numero 5.

and I can't stand sports game, what so ever, expect for wii tennis cause that's cool as shit.
