I have no clue what this is...
Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

          Tron is the goods.

This new thing? We'll see. I sense Big Mickey is trying to cash in by flushing a classic, but I'll reserve judgement.
Music and medicine, I'm living in a place where they overlap.

to hell with reserve. this is simply not cool. the very essence of tron, the foundation of its charm, rests upon its cheesy 80's sci fi special effects awesomeness.

fucking re-makes. just fucking fuck. it's such a bitch to grow old and see your youth re-invented as the same old wheel (still round? yep! still rolls along? yep!) with a flashy new paint job, and oh how the kiddies eat it up!

Had a calm day at work yesterday so I checked out tons of upcoming movies like D9, Avatar, 2012, etc. Found Tron through the teaser they had shown at Comic-con last year, right?

Was pretty cool, I actually enjoyed it and I look forward to the movie. Haven't seen the first one but I will do as soon as I can

The fact (rumor but everyone is saying it's so!) that Daft Punk will be making the music just make me want to throw money at them.

Yo.. one day when we are 60 they are going to remake movies like Tombstone and Fight Club with actors like the Jonas Brothers and current wrestling star X and enhance the gun fight scenes and stuff.

One day you are going to read in the papers about some famous star dead in his house with "YOU CAN'T REPLACE VAL KILMER AS DOC HOLLIDAY" carved into his chest hanging from his rafters. Watch.. I will even sign it kthx when it happens.

with the slumping economy hollywood is in full-blown remake / sequel mode. gotta go with what makes the money, right?

the only thing about this movie that i'm genuinely excited about is the fact that daft punk has reportedly signed on to do the soundtrack
PLEASE, DON'T BE MISGUIDED...YA BITIN'. AND I'MA HAVE TA DIS YA, UNDERSTAND MISTA?

You know, honestly, the original Tron can be pretty boring. That's why the movie has such a cult following. I would liken it to "2001: A Space Odyssey" (not cinematogrophy-wise) in the sense that it can be a really boring movie, but there's plenty to love about it also. What I found enjoyment in were the lightbikes (check out an iPhone app called that) and disk games (a lot like that Counter-Strike mod: Ricochet).

And what's wrong with Jeff Bridges? I think he's a fine actor myself.

Kirk Douglas did it better than Kilmer. Tombstone isn't a good example since that movie itself is the 5th or 6th remake of the OK Corral story.

If you didn't like Val Kilmer in Tombstone you don't know good acting.

Did you just equal Val Kilmer to good acting?
