It is hard making Tiles and Maps all by urself so i need a partner/Team, i dont want no newb SSME'ers and u must have work in TW, So post if u want in

It's very true, mapmaking takes alot of time if you do most of the stuff from scratch.
I only got a few maps in TW, and the one I made a tileset for took me like a week to finish. All in all, maybe I put 5-20 hours on a map depending on how much it is to think of, and if you make a tileset for it. Then again, it might take even longer.

Yup rather do it all myself and take the time to get it just the way i want. Learned that real fast in dev forgot who it was , was supposed to help me with a christmas map and neva did and i had to quickly make the whole thing, had the tileset, but had to make the map in like 4 hrs wasnt what i had in mind.

I've found that once you "master", or, "get efficient" with SSME mapping is pretty easy. (that doesnt mean i dont still DRIP SWEAT from my armpits when i'm just sitting there..)
Yes it's tedious, but when you start learning how people react to your creations, you start knowing what to make. At that point it becomes fun.
From what i have done in the past, trench wars bases, are the most stressing to make. Yes... Those little symetrical bases... (and ive made full flagging maps such as Extreme Games public arenas)
My opinion on tilesets is this:
There are VERRY fast ways to make all those "pipes" and "bends".
My first tileset found in ?go prodem took me about 3 days!
My second one i cheated and used a photoshop style
Nowadays i can make tiles like this in less that an hour!
So stick with it, it takes time.

Tilesets do take a long time (for me) and so do the maps. I remember it took one month to complete ?go jurassic (first map), but now, it isn't taking so much time.

Well i work with Graphics all the time so map making comes easier to me because i have an "artistic" talent.. lolz took classes on Graphic Design and etc one class we worked with spall pixels like when making a tileset. I am in twdev. I make tile sets, maps, shipsets.. They do take time i spent 5+ hours on this tileset (I hope it comes up)
