For now, if we keep up the daily votes we should get #1 before the end of the month, if you compare the increase in votes for #1 (about 200 since we started voting) and for continuum (around 600 if not more).

... can we implement something like this into TW when you log in to play? At least an in-game message saying 'Hey, do you think Subspace is the best multiplayer online game you play, vote for it here! www.xxx.com' ...

I'm not suggesting we stoop to the level of Booty Master- that's just fuckin lame. They are offering bonuses to your character's stats if you vote for them. That would be like giving any Trenchwars player who votes for Continuim 80,000 points or something.

Anyways... a friendly in-game message would be great. Getting ranked high on sites like that helps bring in new players... it's how I started playing Booty Master at least..

It is not often that such an old school game like Subspace can, after 10 years, still pull awards with such minimal changes as the primary software has had. Unlike many games, there have been no expansions, no huge graphics improvements, no real advertising (Do you see a single Cont link or banner anywhere other than Cont/SS related sites? Look at the voting site, theres a ton of adverts for games no where NEAR the top 10). Also, are you aware that this month is, I believe, the 10 year anniversary of the primary VIE launch of SS (Someone correct me if I am wrong, it has been a LONG time). What better honor than to win some recognition for it.
