Tested with Undercut a second ago, seems to be working after some initial hiccups. This should be interesting. UC's take: maybe the timer should start from the TeK, rather than flag claimed. Potentially there could even be a vicious FR battle going for 3min...

Coded the earwarp. Will put it in later on with 3 minute delay. It will also warn that a hold is about to be completed 10 seconds before, so that everyone can prepare. I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out.

Yep, basically said that in my second paragraph, agreeing that overall a 2m timer is probably more readable and useful. Though might not have been the most clear... often on forums I'm writing at work when I get a spare minute and don't always phrase things...

Thus the mark indicating if the countdown includes a port or not. Every time it reaches 0 you'd get a burst. But if it reaches 0 with the very clearly visible port mark, you know you'll also get a port.
But, the advantage of using the 2m timer...

Outsider perspective: this idea is really exciting. Could modernize basing. There are far too many blowouts that are 10-15 minutes of perfect and near-perfect cram. The losers are frustrated, the winners might enjoy a win well-executed but overall come away...

There's no indication he's interested in excluding people, from what I can tell. It's based off the ending season scores of an automated arena.

Extending season seems like a solid compromise. 2 weeks (until the end of February) should be enough for someone even with 0 games this season to hit enough games for 100% confidence if they're serious about it.
It would also have the added benefit...

I'll have to doublecheck if it uses the 7 day rule or not. It also displays the start date as the end date, looks like. Not sure what's going on there.
Was more a problem pre-confidence. It used to be you'd need I believe 50 combined kills...
