For one thing, Necro's spiking was from his wireless router, not from lagcheating or whatever you think. You can ask Pure_Luck himself who spent 45 minutes with Necro trying to fix his computer with remote management on the router.

As for Everest, yes he does cheat like that. Ask him yourself, before BWC I told him I wouldn't let him play if he cheated. And he didn't do it at least that time.

A while ago my ISP was being very flakey for a few days, and I would constantly have everyone on the screen disappear for 5 seconds, and then reappear again. I wouldn't get specced or anything, but I could easily rush around and do anything without dying.

If people continue to abuse this the only thing that will happen is that the ploss limits will be lowered again. Half the TW population will no longer be able to play TWL, but at least there will be no more cheaters.

well stab thats why im saying that they should make a rule that you can have this kind of lag, my isp really sucks and sometimes my connection goes down for like 10 20 30 seconds, mainly i cant take advantage of this cause i get dced.

but since they say, if everyone desapears for you, dont go through cram and to the flagroom nor touch flag, that this will be considered as cheating and will worth a ban, this wont affect the league at all.

Cig, it is rather easy to master. X Machine did it several times in a private arena to show Rodge that it wasn't just a bug.

Well all isp's are different. Some u can go for 6-7 secounds b4 having to turn it back on, some only 3-4. It all depends, there are alot of times u get disconected with it. Also like i said above it does raise ur packetloss up so its not like it doesnt affect u at all.

Like stab said and i said above, some connections jsut go out like that, its not always cheating. Sure if a person keeps doin it over and over, or ironicaly disapears when they need the flag then yes its probably cheating or a good chance of it, but sometimes it just happens i know it does to me every once in awhile.

I just think its to hard to see if a person is blatantly cheating or not unless its really obvious. Many things can vary into something like this, plus with our uneducated mods/smods this mite become a real mess. Rodge himself didnt know about it.

i broke the little hook from my lan cable and thats why it unplugs from time to time giving me the same effect when i manage to put it in fast enough. however i know there was a time when i got kicked as soon as this happened so there has to be a way to fix it.

Exactly, when i started to have enemy ships flicker and i spike or whatever i keep goin. I take every advantage i can get, and 9 outa 10 tiems if its not a cheat you get disconnected anyway. If its a visible cheat that someone is doing it to clearly get past the cram then sure ban them, warn them, do what u have to do, but dont get all power hungry bc there is another reason to bann. You have to be sure the person is cheating 1st and that alone is hard considering the way some connections spike and stuff nowdays. U do it urself schope and i know ur not cheating, so how can u come here and complain?

If you think someone is about to do it or is known to do it just give a mod a call and tell them the situation. This is definetly cheating . It is hard to tell if it is someone cheating or actually just lagging. But on the other hand this is a pretty obvious cheat. Hey cig I hear you used to do this disapearing act before eh?
