From the TWD rules section:

The Ladder
1. Each Division (dueling, javelin, basing) has its own ladder. This ladder is based on the rating of the squad.

2. To be displayed in one of the ladders, you have to have played at least 5 games of TWDD/TWJD, or 3 games of TWBD. This goes into effect from 2003-01-13

3. To be displayed in one of the ladders, you have to have played at least one game of that Division in the past 3 days (or 7 days for TWBD). This goes into effect from 2003-01-13

I guarantee you the other captains knew it was merce. I don't know why you are even trying to say something like "they didn't know". I also doubt that people on your squad are going to go "Yeah, I'll just let this guy 'from ?go base with really good aim' take my spot in a TWLJ match."

It was said time and time again that double squadding checks would be in place this season and a much better checking system would also be in place. Sooner or later you are gonna get caught, Merce buddy.. you should of known this.

It sucks for all the players that were in Shriek, ruining the rest of the season for them. But on the other hand I know a lot of Shriek that knew this was going on and did nothing about it. Either because they couldn't because Merce was a co-cap, or because they simply didn't speak up for what they thought was right.

Let this be a lesson to anyone in the future thats thinking about letting a player double squad or evade bans on other nicks. It's simply not worth it to jeopardize the rest of the squad. Merce would of been unbanned on July 15, that still would of allowed him to play in the Finals.

I think the captains should of handled this better, squads shouldn't be so dependant on one player coming to TWL games to win. I myself know that Shriek could of handed themselves just fine without Merce. If they would of waited they would have Merce in the Finals and Shriek would probably still be around.

Well, to put it simply.. shit happens. GL to the new TWL squads that replace them.

for instance, RB lost to shriek. they also happen to be in close competition with spastic for a playoff spot. spastic has yet to play shriek.. so it would help RB a lot if spastic were to lose to shriek. however, now spastic will be handed a 15:00 - 00:03 win over defiancy. life for RB just got a lot tougher, especially if the playoffs will be four teams from each conference. shriek isnt even in RB's conference.

I understand the whole point, but when did we lose to Shriek? Though it would be very helpful if Spastic had played them first and lost.

I find it a little funny that in a2m's other topic in this forum he said he let untap join because he's friends with merce in rl. Now in this topic you got Century saying -

Sounds like some people can't get there stories straight. So why wouldn't the squad caps tell the members that he was merce's friend instead of a player they found in .?go base? Seems a little twisted to me, like some people were in on it, and im sure a lot more knew about it then just the caps.
