i know im only new to tw (dsb pubber4life) but i think 16 teams is better than 14
gives other teams a chance to compete that might have missed the cuttoff by a little

Well I dunno how League format is, but if 16 is going to fuck up the current smooth flowin one we already have then forget it. Plus 2 extra teams that aren't going to be any good is a waste.

16 teams in 1 big conference further makes it difficult to have each team play one another. 15 reg season games ... I don't think it'll happen. And I'd rather see 1 conference 14 teams in all leagues then 16 teams in 2 conferences. I seriously doubt league ops will even consider having 1 big conference if there are 16 teams. I DO however think the chances of it happening with 14 teams is a LOT better.

I think 16 teams in TWLB is a better choice, and if the schematics for the schedule are screwed up because of that, they can always be done again.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't there a slew of posts after previous TWLB complaining about how there was no stability in TWLB because of the poor quality of the replacement squads?. With 16 squads you'll probably get at least 2 squads dropping out. That will mean you'll have a huge replacement squad turnover...

Exactly, Credit. In my first TWLB season (TWL 6) I was on a replacement squad, which was something like the 3rd or 4th squad to be replaced into TWLB.

Either people didn't play back when it was 16 squads, or they didn't care, or just plain forgot what it was like. No matter what you do people will always say the old way was better.

There is a hell of alot more basing squads now then there was back then. I can name 16 rite now who would make it a good league.

Edit: and all 16 of these are squads who are together for a pretty long time and they are pretty stable. Alot of them its there 1st LB but they been in other leagues (like pirates,anc) i think its clear 16 would work.

Also u dont need to have 1 big group. I think it works fine with conferences.

I think there were more squads basing prior to TWL6 ... remember Dekai? That was some great TWD competition with Mambo, Spastic, Camisade, and Dekai as the newer teams and Light, Pallies, Onix?, Diso, Elusive, as the older teams.

I just think there were more squads then than now.
