TWLD Predictions

[Mythril]

With TWL looking like it's gonna start in the next few weeks and seeming like not much will change before then, I think it's a good time to make some TWLD predictions. I'm only going to rank the squads that I think are going to be fighting to get into playoffs.

1.-FINAL- - The TWLD champs still look to be in great shape. Losing Raspi will hurt them but when you have Sika there's not much else you need. Watch for him to dominate TWLD again and probably lead his team to another championship.
Starters - Sika/Domi/Reaver/Ardour/death row
Backups - Jack(would be starter if he was active)/scorch/owner/ReBirth/Disqualifier/Foxy
Key player - Sika

2.Grapevine - It just doesn't feel the same when Randedl isn't losing a twld final.. I'm willing to argue that this season's GV is better than season 7's. Mega Newbie will have another ridiculous season and I'm predicting he gets over 130 kills in the regular season alone.
Starters - Randedl/Mythril/Mega Newbie/MetalKid/SwimKid
Backups - Accord/Audit/Cranium/Janitor/kid kaos/killergt/scoop/Eternal/Spr/Confluence
Key player - Mega Newbie

3.Syndicate - If you guys still had Mega Newbie I'd put you at number 1 and GV at 3 or 4 but thankfully that isn't the case Look for demonfaze to annihilate twl again, well at least when he's not playing GV (remember when we made you go 1-10 in season 7?) Synd knocked out -F- in semis 2 season ago but I think it will be the other way around this time.
Starters - demonfaze/fireballz/Raspi/Colonel/Nikolai
Backups - FieryFire/Escalate(would be starter if he was active)/Stripes/Amputate
Key player - demonfaze

4.Sk8 - Poor Ease having to carry sk8 every season... At least he will have a rising star in geisha to help him out. Having people like Broly who can single handedly steal games doesn't hurt either. They will go as far as Ease takes them, and I see them getting to the semis.
Starters - Ease/B4sERmaN36_X(did I get that right?)/Broly/High Templar/Creature
Backups - Evoce/Mysterious/monkee/Predator Rulez(if he gets active)/Tahkis/Burnt
Key player - Ease

5.dicE - They will be very hard to beat with explosive players like delectable, Deez Nuts and Azreal. I just don't know if they have the depth to get far in the playoffs.
Starters - Azreal/delectable/Deez Nuts/paska/pascone
Backups - a2m/War/Riflemen/Fission
Key player - delectable

6.United Force - This squad doesn't have many big names but I think as a team they will be very competitive. I know I wouldn't want to have to play them during the season as I think they have a chance to beat any squad with their passive radar playing style. Watch for them to pull a lot of upsets and get into the playoffs.
Starters - Tys/Bharat/bike/MILOS/Aerin
Backups - The rest of their roster I guess
Key player - Tys

7.Disoblige - I'm just guessing on this one.. whenever I see Diso they're either winning 50-30 or losing 19-50. They should be able to get their act together and make playoffs this season.
Starters - Displaced/deprecate/Phrenitis/Da1andonly/Noodler
Backups - bram(could be starter if he got active again)/Mantra-Slider
Key player - Displaced

8.Shinobi - 4:Randedl> i can't figure out why shinobi sucks so bad Well I can, they don't know how to team, at all. The past week they've really gotten better with their teaming and I think they'll get their act together for TWL. They definitely have good enough players, they just need to learn how to play together. Talking to you dynasty and poseidon, learn to team
Starters - Dynasty/Poseidon/Foreign/Attacks/Nasir
Backups - Top/Rival/Flare/Primal/Unrealistic/Catatstrophe
Key player - Poseidon

9.Quicksand - They're without a doubt the biggest wildcard this season. They could go 9-1 or 1-9, so just to be safe I'm keeping them out of the playoffs. The aggressive rushing style that they rely on will cause them to be inconsistant. I'm predicting Izor has an all star year though.
Starters - Izor/Deluge/Ale/Racka/Surfer
Backups - The rest of their roster
Key players - Izor and Deluge

10.Heavy - I know I predicted you guys to make playoffs but after playing a few games vs you I've changed my mind. We pretty much threw in 10 different lines and beat you easily every time. I dunno, you guys have a lot of people to prove wrong.
Starters - Apok/Annoyance/Slangin Rock/Jones/Caos
Backups - The rest of their roster
Key players - Apok and Jones

11.Ancients - This isn't the same team that made playoffs last season. Losing Dzar to inactivity and exe to whatever will hurt a lot. Utopia is going to find it hard to have another all star year with his teammates letting him down.
Starters - Utopia/Pakastin/3 others(no offense, I just don't know what your top line is)
Backups - See above
Key player - Utopia

12.Pirates - Ouch... you guys made finals last year, wtf happened? 90% of your roster is inactive and losing people like Nikolai and Kid kaos will hurt you a lot. Who knows, maybe Vigilanty will lead them somewhere.
Starters - Vigilanty/Hercules/The other 3 who decide to log on
Backups - ?????????????????????????
Key player - Vigilanty

The other 4 squads that I don't feel like ranking:

Pallies
There's a few squads fighting for the last spot such as Arcade, Warpath, Soulcamp, Speed

This season will definitely be the most competitive TWLD to date. Grapevine will go 10-0 btw, thanks for reading

At this pt Synd and GV are a good bit ahead of other squads in terms of skill and depth imho.

Note: I think squads should be recruiting less when they have a winning group of players. Imo I'm seeing more and more good squads "diluting" (for lack of better words) their playerbase and team chemistry. Don't mess up what works.

Edit: I think Tys will lag out of TWLD.

I think it's a realistic prediction, don't know much about how the twdd squads are doing though. But I just think the big names will do well once again, I don't see a real dangerous outsider, well perhaps Quicksand is.

Heavy will be the surprise TWLD team prob. They have a solid constant playerbase unlike all these other squads that are recruiting and dropping players every week.

Vitja is going to be back for the season? That's a ridiculously powerful combo, Ease/Vitja/Geisha. Supposedly Broly is supposed to be a great bird, but I've honestly never seen a good game from Broly... then again, I dont' watch a lot of DDs.

You can't judge us by the last 2 games we played, moreover when we're 3-3 in games. Nevertheless, the lineups and predictions are pretty neat, although u forgot Kento.
