It would make sense if you are in some kind of squad which has won like 4 titles in a row, however I'm not sure if you even have one. Seems like there is enough competition for you. Stray at the moment is fking inactive,only pascone is active...every other player come sunday to play twl,and then go afk for 1 week,waiting for next sunday.

Not to mention the removal of full charges gives rushing squads a chance at winning....

5-6 years ago Siege had more than 1 or 2 per day. either way if you took 15 of the current population, turned them into superstars, you'd still have the same population and the same dying zone. Yet 15 elite players would make leagues seem a lot more competitive. The most active, as far as voicing concerns and playing don't seem to be getting heard from staff. It looks like people want arena #s cut down, elim to be saved, and leagues to gain some more credibility. Has anyone heard of any real plans? I havent been around much but it seems as if staff does not have what it takes to make changes, at first glance.

yes kim actually i am, just havent been here the last 5 or so weeks due to being in the military, going on vacation, being considered uneligable for 2 weeks because of pascone after joining in week 2 after being gone for months and months cuz i was on deployment, but yes, when i show up i am the starter

but kim isnt your squad a problem too? did hydra not accept a twld invitation just to drop out of it? way to keep competition up in that area too with hydra being the worst ld squad at the time

and maybe i am a bad player sumpson? who knows? maybe i wasnt that awesome of a wb in 98, but im pretty sure im one of the top in 2008, and maybe thats my point? maybe if im one of the good wbs in 2008 than it means there is a significant drop off in talent nowadays? or maybe everyone has gotten that much better who knows?

and dont act like your better player than me in 2008, in 98 you probably damn sure were, and probably for years after that, but as it goes right now, your definately not, and that u can quote me on, and if you still win titles because you have drow blood and the crew around you doesnt mean you would do even positive on a squad with players from tough around you

This would be a viable argument if we didn't show up to our games. We tried with what warbirds we have, while our main focus being in TWLJ. You can't possibly accuse us because we place our squad's focus in another league, while wanting to be part of TWLD.

i dont but your saying i was contributing to the problem, well so was hydra then at the same token, this whole thread is getting blown out of proportion from my main point, which is competition is down and players that usually would not be in twl in past seasons at their skill level are in twl the last few seasons

yeah i've lost a lot of interest in trenchwars and twl all together. Maybe its the same old static people or maybe its the fact that i realized that i was playing a 2d spaceship game in my late teens. Once you've won a couple of twl titles and killed about 80% of the tw population at least 5 times, it gets kinda boring and repetitive. --But i really think the only thing holding this game together is the ability to have multiple chats and easily building friendships.

As for TWL...i know its a major factor in keeping tw populated but you also have to think about the significance of TWL. if you keep it annualy, it would obviously be more competitive. If you have it twice a year (eg season 10 +11) you take away the seriousness of the game but you would possibly lose population as well.

So anways its up to Staff and the coordinators. Do your job more effectively. I'll always remember this game as the game i played all through high school and wasted so much time perfecting basing strategies. Such as "Under" © (Copyrighted 2004 by Mikes). Hopefully Trenchwars is still alive and kicking in the future. In my honest opinion i think it's death is inevitible..out with the old in the with the new...

My two cents.
Not all people play under the premise that winning is the only value to this game. Some people enjoy the game because logging on and hanging with the people in their squad is a break from their real life. It could be that a pickup game in the evening serves as a distraction from real life, a way to escape and forget about other stresses.
Of course, for some people the game itself is THE stress. Exalt, perhaps this is the problem for you, the game has turned into a stress in your life. I would recommend that if anyone has found that the game has become more stressful than enjoyable, take a break.

The leagues are not the end-all-to-be-all. Don't let the braggers fool you into thinking that you have to have a 3 cross league championship under your belt to be 'someone' in TW. If you enjoy the game, whatever the reason, go with it.

Well I've notice that there are two kind of gay men.

There are those who are very cheerful, They talk with VERY annoying gay accent. you can usually know what i talk about when you watch those fashion and hairstyle or clothes styling people, who are gay.

And there are those who are normal, speak normal, dress normal and not try to be something unusual. Their like to men is something that they take as normal as a man love a woman.

I hate the first example of gays. Even if a strait act like those, Ill hate him. Its annoying and disgusting. It make a bad name for all the gay people among us.

For your answers Pressure. People hate gay people because of religion and the way they grow on belief and define what normal and what is not. I think being gay is not normal. I wont hate gays for that, but Ill never see it as something normal. woman and a woman is also not normal, but because we do attract to women, we actually extra enjoy watch them play with each other.
