well yeah, it is pretty much a one man show. there are several factors i have to look at.
one - do any other games have only one time requested, because they will
get their time first - automatically.
two - there can only be four games per time slot as we have problems finding enough hosts as many people on staff are also on twl squads
three - after considering those two points, it comes down to filling out the rest of the schedule. often, a lot of the times you want (3pm, 4pm) are the popular times that other squads also pick. thus, i can't put more games in one slot
four - i try to accomadate each squad as much as possible. when i see a squad that has two games in a row and the only other available time is at 5pm and it would be their third game in a row (such as last weekend against dice) it makes a lot of sense to put it there. granted, it probably doesn't for you, but i figure deep squads should be able to get players at anytime.
five - your squad is 9-1... does it really matter when your regular season games are? really.
six - when there are no situations in which three consecutive games could be arranged due to filled time slots, i will put the game at either 1pm or 5pm on sunday because everyone will complain if i were to put their game on a saturday
seven - if there is a situation where the both the time slots are available, i will simply flip a coin after randomly assigning one team's desired time on heads.

dont whine reaver, deal with it. Pandora never gets the time we want in LB always w/e time the oppenents want unless we agree. Just trying to give other squads the best possible chance they can get i guess... although your squad does suck.Leave a comment:

Alright, I'm usually pretty tolerant cause you're handling many matches here, but what's up with our LD times? We haven't ever gotten a time we wanted for an LD match unless the other team actually accepted ours or we accepted theirs. Every time it's come to the TWL ops setting the time for the match the other team has gotten the time, whether I submitted our time first or the other team did. LD vs Stray, LD vs Thunder, LD vs Dice and I'm wondering what's going to happen in this LD vs diso. Diso actually has a legitimate claim to wanting a later time but that doesn't mean that we should just ignore our players needs. On a side note, what's up with ridiculously early or late times TWL squads want vs us in LD?
I read the rules on this, 7.05 through 7.08, it really comes down to the head TWL op. I asked around and according to everyone I've spoken to it's a one man show when it comes to assigning times. Which I'd be fine with if it didn't feel like we were getting fucked with every time we faced a decent squad. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just trying to figure out if this is merely coincidence or if there's some kind of rhyme or reason to this.

You're afk alot so I'll just ask here. I was told by a member of staff, thats not a TWL op, that we're still doing the conference system, is that true? So Hypothetically say Style ends up with a better record than Plade in LJ and we already beat them in regular season, they'd still go onto playoffs over us?
If this is the case I think we got something that needs to be fixed before next season, though I'd still rather see the pyramid system.
