GAME 1
Treyway vs Criminal
48-50
The closest game of this week showcased nothing short of a clown fiesta, especially towards the end of the match, where Heisman tk'ed Mean Gene out of the game to make the game 49-48 with Heis and Zizzo in a 2v1 vs trapped (anyone remember beam's big play?) However, Zizzo played janitor duty and completed the cleanup work on trapped towards the right side of the map, to take the W over a Treyway team that lacked a key component to their lineup at the start of the game, hulk.
Hot: trapped (16-10), Zizzo (13-9)
Not: Banks (3-7), mvp (3-6)
Spider vs Demacia
50-38
Experienced captain Mhz continued to lead Spider's momentum into javs, where they made short work of a disorderly Demacian team. Four members logged in very nice records with aprix (12-8) taking the helm to lead the way. And when the opponent 6* musters out an 8-10, you know you got problems. Good work Yojimbooooooo.
Hot: Trasher (14-10), aprix (13-8)
Not: Kim (1-7), bitsaver (1-6)
Terrorist vs Halo
33-50
A match that should have gone the distance on paper turned out to be a one-sided blowout, as the angels made quick work of Al-Qaeda. Rough (18-7) was massive this game, being the massive boulder that Terrorist could not shatter. JAMAL also redeemed himself from last season woes with a worthy 12-5. All members of Terrorist negged.
Hot: Rough (18-7), JAMAL (12-5)
Not: Ra/Sprackle (combined 2-10), Tripin (4-10)
Power vs Pure Luck
46-50
Having drafted for primarily two divisions, Lucky Charms almost let this game slip through their fingers. However, power sub Ricko (8-4) came into the game to rescue an abysmal start from banzi to pull their cumulative record to even and minimize damage. He, Rab, and Shadowmere (13-9) put the finishing touches on Ogron last to nab the W and make a comeback after a terrible warbird start for Week 1. On the opposing side, ro (18-10) tried to do his best Amputate impression, but it proved not enough to will his team to victory.
Hot: ro (18-10), Shadowmere (13-8), Ricko (8-4)
Not: Ogron (4-10), banzi (0-4)
Treyway vs Halo
33-50
Halo continued to keep rolling and rolling, gradually gaining momentum throughout the game and never looking back. The entire Halo team worked together magnificently, showing little to no flaws in their gameplay as all 5 members logged at the minimum even recs. On the other side, only uprise (14-10) logged a commendable score, while the rest of the team faltered.
Hot: uprise (14-10), destruct (12-8), Rough (12-7)
Not: Kira (1-10), morph (4-10)
Demacia vs Power
32-50
Like the game above, little needs to be said in a shutdown. okyo (15-10) virtually destroyed everything in sight (with 3 KOs), bringing back some old Potenza flair of warbird/jav. For Demacia, only Jessup and Trasher managed to break even while their other members all had head-shaking performances.
Hot: okyo (15-10), Murder (6-1)
Not: Anon (0-6), Kim (4-10), skyforger (4-10)
Criminal vs Pure Luck
44-50
Finally in the fourth game, the Leprechauns seemed to stabilize down to snatch a 2-0 start in javelin to isolate their warbird start. Captain Tiny (15-10) led the way along with Raples (12-6) against a team that refused to give up until Zizzo finally fell with just under a minute left of the game. This makes me wonder, is this the beam effect in whichever team he is drafted to (slow start, pick up steam late?)? I'm sure Criminal will work to regroup and bounce back in the upcoming weeks.
Hot: Tiny (15-10), Zizzo (15-10), Raples (12-6)
Not: beam (0-5), Spectacular (5-10)
Spider vs Terrorist
50-38
Easily one of the top 8* javelins playing today, Ardour (13-5) showed exactly amongst a well-orchestrated Spider 2-0. Supporting cast spacedust and Viop payed dividends, but both notched tks which gave them a slight no-no (XD). On the opposition, only captain DWTrain managed to score positive as the rest of his team were blown to ashes in a 13 minute game.
Hot: Ardour (13-5), spacedust (11-7), dreamwin (12-10)
Not: Jurassic (4-10), Major Crisis (5-10)
