For those of you guys who enter an arena and once ur done dling, BOOM an innoying background(not always innoying)? What makes this worse is that u can't read for shiz as ur eyes start to boil trying to distinguish the letters from the backdrop. Your crys have been heard!
For those of you who insert edited gfx to give yourself an edge in the game(or to make ur experience cooler), you should know about tallfont. Its a .bm2 file that controls the text in game. This sepcific tallfont is wider by exactly 2 pixles width wise and 2 pixles taller lenght wise. This spacing of the letters allows easy reading from afar and for those of you with large monitors using the higest res allowed. The extra 2 pixles on width and height are outlines to allow the text to standout though bright background or ones that are close to the text color. A 2 pixle outline? Not really, the outline extends all around the charecter EX

EDIT: The text will also cause your windows to widen a bit due to the extra 2 pixles
How to use the tallfont.bmp (right click the image and "save as")
If you want to try this text out, it is recomended to put it in your
Continuum\zones\sscu trenchwars folder
After you have done that, enter the zone. If you are currently alt tabed and re enter, the text will seem to disapear, this is because continuum dosen't like the text larger than the default size. Re enter the zone and the text should load fine.
If you want to get rid of the text, simply delete it from the folder and renter the zone. your default text should be restored.
If you really like the text and want it as your default everywhere, put it in your
Continuum\graphics folder
EDIT: Remember to rename tallfont.bm2 to tallfont2.bm2 and such.
