But I think it'd make an excellent plot twist if a terraformed mars had new chemicals that deactivated the nano-viruses being used to keep docile the people who escaped the first colony to the man-made underground ocean. Then they could escape the aerogel bubble and repopulate the earth. It'd make a good movie to put all those possibilities of adam and eve back into our minds.

the human bottleneck happened 70,000 years ago. that means only 7 VEI-8 eruptions have happened since. I think I could even put Olympus Mons into the script, where the govt was hording PGMs from it and trying to keep the public from realizing the supervolcano was becoming active way too fast.

Finally someone finds a drugs a hybrid of martian biology and original earth biology, previously undiscovered, and it deactivates the nano-viruses after it's been ingested and only for some period of time after ingestion. The rulers have become lax, but little do they know people have discovered how to penetrate the atmospheric aerogel bubble. Two people manage to escape to pilot escape pods to earth immediately as the bubble's vacuum breaks. Everyone on mars dies and the martians colonize an unpopulated earth.

Alright how about this. It's 2109, and the first colony on mars is beginning to corrupt from the inside of the govt's and nobody can figure out who or why. The people finally get out of the shelter and find mars is already completely terraformed, or that there's a man-made ocean underground. But when they take off their helmets, nano-viruses invade their brains and they become completely docile, and evolution begins all over again with halfwits who have no idea what to name their planet.

Anyways, when the official elevator by NASA gets released, just think of me. It's really a matter of time before extinction is provoked. I don't mean to strike fear, or provoke mayhem. I just want people to die.
