The president does not live in the hollow Earth. His residence is the WhiteHouse. He was born in Kenya & is a homosexual crack smoker who did the exact reverse of everything he says and is controlled by the elite who are in turn controlled by dark demonic entities that inhabit the being from dissociation induced at an early age via child rape and satanic ritual abuse.

Why dont you know these things? how come you just debate mainstream politics instead of knowing how evil things are? Im giving you very simple posts here that are simple common sense, im not even writing paragraphs like the others, and making my posts extra-simple

The government adds cancer viruses to vaccines on-purpose to increase cancer & is releasing toxins in secret programs in a eugenics softkill plan
Healthy and sick people alike are losing health insurance by the tens of thousands
Obamacare is designed to be an element in a mulch-disciplinary plan to bankrupt the country on-purpose
Suppose even if you had a medical payment system that was better than the best government or best private insurance possible - the medical technoloogy its self does not change & you would still not be treated for most conditions and diseases, you would be given fake treatment that has no effect or makes you worse.
Like in the case of cancer, Alzheimer, parkinsons, mental illness of various kinds, AIDS, chronic pain & other conditions, your life would be made worse instead of better.

Jerome,
Pragmatics would say, ‘don’t worry about that crack in the building’s foundation, it is more important to plant flowers in the garden so the people are happy'. Pragmatism is like shrugging your shoulders and saying that the ends always justifies the means. While true in some situations it is wrong in many others.
I understand why people might feel pragmatic towards ‘the man’ (governments or corporations) but don’t think that it is the best perspective. We are ‘the man’; humans. What we need is good leadership, people will rally behind good leadership. Unfortunately there have been no good leaders in this country for decades; Obama is no better or worse than Bush was.
IMO at some point real leadership will emerge. Even the Catholic Church, which is historically the most change-resistant, strong-willed, and often misguided organization in the world, now appears to have found a person who actually has some leadership skills.
We (American people) simply need to vote out every incumbent for the next 2-3 elections. Fire these assholes and force in new people with every election. Once we purge the career politicians we will have a better chance to find the true leaders.

yo sry ive been busy at work n shit. anywaysOriginally posted by Ephemeral View Postjerome,
I don’t understand the ‘shifting of costs’ to businesses.
What I meant here is the idea of employer-provided insurance. IE, by legislation, the government "shifted the cost" - from individuals, to businesses. I mean of course there are some businesses that have always provided insurance, but mandating that employers HAVE to provide insurance is clearly an easy way to "solve" the problem of not having insurance while also not spending alot of (federal) money.
The problem with this opposition to Obamacare is that it's hollow. I understand and even agree with your arguments. (Withing eyesight the first book on my shelf is Mudwig von Mises' "Human Action" right next to Murray Rothbard's "Man, State, Economy".) But... there's this very real and crazy -ism called pragmatism. And quite frankly the opposition to Obamacare, even if I (somehow) concede that it is a foundationally-sound argument... pragmatically it would be useless. Because in the long-run, either the problem of lacking insurance will go down, or the mere conversation and focus of the situation is going to eventually bring about some sort of reform or outright alternative.
The only viable alternative I see, the one I see being used worldwide, without any sort of commiepocalypse... is single-payer healthcare. Until I see a pragmatic, real-world alternative, it's real hard to really object to welcoming the (hopefully) inevitable

As of today the Feds are reporting the web site cost is $600,000,000 and they have managed to sign up 27,000 people. So far they have spent an average of $22,000 per enrolled person. LOL
Of course the average cost will decline as the number of people who are willing to burn even more hours (many already have 10+ hours invested in struggling with it) but where will it end up? Keep in mind that the Feds are saying the cost of the web site will continue to rise. I would not be surprised if by the time this is done Washington will have spent $500-$1000 per enrollment.
This web site is simply a harbinger of the costs/hassles to come. Yeah, it was a great idea to allow Washington politicians to handle health care.
