    what level do i have to kiull to get the kill to count as a streak and depending on the level, it may or may not be too high?
    It's presently 20, so that if a rank 50 kills a rank 29 it doesn't count toward a streak, but a rank 30 does. I think this number worked while players were generally pretty low-rank... however, I think it's becoming clear that some kind of a percentage of your own rank is probably the best way to figure it. Maybe half of your ranks should be the determining factor -- 25 for rank 50, for example, with the minimum valid value being maybe 10. Will have to see how it works, because at present it doesn't seem all that fair.

    Mj, I checked the map, and the areas are the same for the brick. Also, I do still think that Weasel isn't quite where it needs to be as a special unlock. The way it's going lately, a lot of ships have pretty decent bot-based abilities, plus some sort of item: Spider has the super/energy tank combo plus anti; Lanc has leeching + firebloom; WB now has MASTER + Thor. I'd like to see most of the other ships (including the less combat-oriented) have similar things. Weasel has Brick + VB, but neither is offensive, and the various other bonuses -- support ship, Terr bonuses, streak bonuses, etc. -- don't really add up to making it fun to play, which is what I would most like to see. It's really a shame TW isn't running ASSS or we could do a lot more with this... far beyond the very basic and allow me to say rather uninteresting money system HyperSpace uses.

    The bottom line is that we have new ability slots available, and I would like to see the Weasel get something more. Possibly would also like to see a bot special ability for the Levi at a high rank, as well as something more interesting for the Shark, and possibly a special item for the Jav. Suggestions welcome here. I don't want to just add abilities to make ships more powerful -- the power of the ability can be balanced with costs and the power of other things adjusted. Really what I want is to make every ship as enjoyable to play as possible, at all times.

    Also, are the rounds going on too long in the Hybrid system still? Do people like it? Don't like it? Don't care, as I'm guessing the comments have been almost none?

    The area near the flag where one can't lay a brick is totally different in the top fr and the bottom fr. The bottom one is a lot bigger and quite annoying as it uses up your brick yet nothing happens. About bricks being overpowered - I don't think they are. It can be a fun tool for a while but I would MUCH rather have Firebloom every time I spawn. A brick is nothing compared to it and a brick doesn't get you any kills. The brick is also a level 50 ability whereas Lancs get the much more powerful ability earlier than that.

    I don't enjoy playing the Weasel anymore for some reason. Sometimes I play it for 5 minutes and get bored and switch to another ship. I guess it's because it feels so weak compared to other ships. I think the Weasel doesn't improve enough when leveling up since the energy and charge rate costs are so big. That leaves only the specials and possibly the blue bullets. Since the yellow bullets are actually very useful compared to the blue bullets, even at level 52, the difference is very small. Otherwise the ship stays almost the same (as in almost as weak) from early 20s to 50+. Some Weasels seem fairly happy though, so maybe it's just me...

    Send the bot !killmsg to turn on killmsgs and it'll tell you why stuff doesn't count towards your streak.

    ok random idea

    well we are setting in distension cause it didn't start on time and were wishing for something to do... and i suggested a powerball now it would have to not increase the lvl of your weapons thats easy but can the bot change the cfg at the one minute before round start to not have the ball. cause that was the only thing that bothered people would be the delay in firing when you pick up the ball they thought annoying people would grab the ball and take it into base. It would be good for free time it would get everyone in the middle dogfighting and doing something completely different.

    though i could understand if you decided not to... cause its completely different

    Im a lvl 50 terr, yesterday i decided to just sit in midbase and kill people and port, i had a rocord of like 70 kills and 13 deaths or so, im not sure how many people i killed but i had not died and had only received a streak one time. Meaning i got a MINIMUM of 20 kills i na row and it only counted 5 of them. So i am wondering, what level do i have to kiull to get the kill to count as a streak and depending on the level, it may or may not be too high?

    ok i was talking about super not helping me be protected here is my first post

    WB new ability: k question is the length random like spider super? As to the shield, I had a weird thing happen... it activated and I decided to ram a mine to see... I went right over unfortunately about the super I can't eat yellows which is what it would let you do if you had energy, because the firing delay was about the same time it takes me to recharge

    so I think i'm going to scrap it on my ship till I have more energy. also getting streak constantly in wb requires you to be flying around in mid or spawn not really basing i know, sometimes you do get a streak in base i did once in the test but it didn't help me cause fr had been cleared lol ... though it is a pretty cheap upgrade so maybe people won't mind putting UPs into it on the off chance that you could get a shield in base

    in conclusion I would say the point of this upgrade is the shield not the super so much as I thought at first, I could see super keeping you safe like a shield if you could eat yellows as I can't
    the shields are ok cause it starts at 100% of damage reduction and counts down... most likely around 10 secs though as I asked I wanted to know whether it was random. unfortunately you can't really make the super better cause you would have to increase the firing rate and with the wbs fast recharge... i mean i'm at 5/10 upgrades of recharge i think and i can recharge all but 100 of my energy before i can fire my single yellow again.

    So as i said to you in game I think it would help you more cause you are a higher rank. Super would increase your firing rate as well as leave you with an eating amount of energy, shield would block yellows easily... blues maybe

    Another WB user got both the super + shield and told me that the super doesn't increase your firing rate at all. The shield would also not defend him from a L2 gun which he wasn't normally capable of taking. If this is the case, then neither of these are particularly powerful.... I can't comment on anything for sure though since I haven't had a chance to try it.

    no, seriously, you have 50 bajillion ports and bursts and you're bitching about me having l2 bombs? something tells me you're just not good at the ship when you aren't abusing regenerated specials. your team needs to get a clue. hell, i was under 1:1 on the day so i'm obviously not some kind of unstoppable menace.

    basically lol at suggesting a nerf because of incompetence on your army's behalf. the levi's a good ship right now.

    Doesn't mean someone else can't get a streak that high. A good number of players could, and I guess that's what that ability is for, skillful players. I'm not too sure but what I've seen from the few events I've been to, super on a warbird allows it to continually fire l3 bullets without losing energy at a rate of about 2 shots per second. And temporary shield shields them from bullets completely, but bombs/mines do take away just a bit of energy. Both last for a few seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    BTW, nevermind on that glitch I posted. It's my Internet, trying to figure out how to fix it. >_>

    hybrid timer would be cool to try.

    maybe make wb/levi nrg/chg stuff a lil cheaper?
    paying 35 RP for 1 chg is rediculous =(

    and theres still too many bursts flying around, but theres also a lot of terrs...?

    dist is looking good so far...

    I've heard some reports about Ops docking from being AFK or for other reasons
    does it to me all the time.
    it resets my participaton, and sends me to spec freq.
    then i do =0, and commands start working.
    and sometimes it specs me again after i do =0, immediately.
    most "leaving the console" msgs in a row is 3 so far.

    i had an idea:
    what if you killed the current ops afk thing, and made the only test so the bot pms you a random number 1-100, and you simply pm that number back? that would defeat ?away completely, the only reason for all this extra crap...

    ok about the flag timer...

    the really long round which is being talked about was a two base hybrid timer set to 2 mins... I would suggest that since people were finding the old timer taking to long to keep the sector hold time at 1 min and use the new timer should make rounds go quick or try 1:30 as total amount. 2 mins was to long

    also in addtion to the ideas for shorting rounds i made in respose to Aquatiq maybe after 30-40 mins into the round make the bot ask the players if they would want a 'truce' they would pm the bot with !truce or !notruce and if a majority of the people that voted said truce the bot would take what the player would have got if their team had won and cut it in half... just another idea if the timer ends up not quite doing it

    as to the wb i did post about it... before the change

    on a fun side I basicly got 35,000 rp for one round win do i get in to the distension hall of fame for most rp in one round? or is there someone whos had more?

    Weird glitch happened to me. Not sure if it was my connection, has never happened before. But I went to the bottom base and all ships/mines were gone so I was like wtf everyone died? o_O I went in it to get the flag then suddenly one shark appeared next to the entrance to it with a few mines. About half a second later another one appeared. Then one second later everyone else appeared and I got scared so I warped out.
