Make TW pub less lame

sure its a stupid idea, but here we got some guy i don't know who has gotten to the interest level that he wants to go to forums and post an idea. last thing i would want if i were to be in charge of keeping the tw population as high as possible would be for a staff member to be as rude as maverick was. and his joke wasn't even funny enough to be written. if you want to be an asshole staff member make sure you are at least funny.

It depends on how you put the words. You could also say that Mav did the right thing by mocking someone making another whine post about LT's (those are pretty much the ones using the safes).

Kinda off subject but it would be neat to see some sort of "pub league" with stuff like LT matches, Tube mining competitions, and Roof/Safe laming challenges.

like, release a good LT duo in pub map and then another small team to kill it. keep track of how long it takes to kill the LT.

i feel that pub
1. is an introductory arena to other rando arenas like elim, base etc.
2. a fun place to just fool around.

LT's are a part of pub and the bty reduction thing is just silly.

Agreed. I have two points to make.

1. Safe laming is not that big of a deal.

2. The solution is not to kill LTs anymore than they already are. I'd like to remind everyone that when LTs were in thier "Normal" state, the TW population was easily twice what it is now.

Instead of complaining every time you get owned in pub, just get better. I remember when I first started out and was getting killed by LTs all the time. Instead of complaining about it on the forums, I just hunted the LTs ( I know what a novel concept).

I'm just saying that sarcastic comments like that are completely uncalled for and don't give anyone anything to build on. The map that a new person to TW plays is a public map. Therefore shouldnt that public map be the best map within the zone? and making that map the best map in the zone would require to be built on by members of the community to make that map good for everyone that plays it, not just the people who created it. Staff does not want to change what needs to be changed. They are changing the maps, instead. Your voice is like that of the American voter, a penny in a tin can.

If we do remove the safes or prize neg bty to ppl who enter safe then we are killing a ship just because some ppl like to whine.
