Apart from people sometimes having 5-directional shrap like in shark elims, shrap works fine for me. It's not hard to dodge, and it's easy to get kills with if you know what you're doing.

When shrap was around before it was a tri-star kinda deal. 3 shrapnels, at 120 degree angles. And it was insta-kill. And it was 5 times slower than this crap we have.

Actually, I would contend that the ranking system combined with reasonable wait times are what always made elim popular in the first place (yes i picked up your sarcasm). People love to see their own name on a list. Honestly I think there are things in TW that could be much more popular than elim if players were ranked in them. TWD is popular for that reason. If it were just bot-managed pracs it would have flopped from the beginning. The ladder really gives it life (not to mention the benefit we get from it when it comes to choosing squads for TWL).

We're at the end of a TWL season which has been building activity in general for quite some time now. The recent good elim attendances doesn't have to mean that it is perfect, just that there is alot of interest for elims right now.

We are ending a TWL season soon, and after that activity is going to drop during offseason. It would be nice to get up a final elim before the offseason sets in, this could get more players to stick around during offseason. I can say that for my part elim has gotten big enough now that it alone can satisfy my warbird needs at times.

There is no way that fixing the ranking system and changing back to the proper names will have a negative effect, I dont get why anyone would oppose a change that can only do good. Show me one person who will go "FUCK they fixed ranking system I'm quitting elim lolol".

I don't mind if the !lagout command is unfixed or removed. but what does history have to do with this? I thought it's called belimbeta because it's NOT baseelim, and it's trying to test new things out.

in belimbeta, if you do lag out you're guaranteed out because you're "outside of base too long" as soon as you enter back in using !lagout

can you fix that?

Historically, elims don't allow any lagouts, to keep the games quick.
No objections to that.

darn wb race still doesn't work. i suspect it's more of a typo somewhere than a major bug in the programing, but what do i know about it.

the casual play has been disabled for awhile now in elimbeta as far as i can tell. not that having it available was a big issue, it was just handled strangely. you shouldn't have a record in casual play (if it's possible) so the f2 menu works fine for ppl playing the game. It should be even smaller to encourage ppl to use it (big, 2 ppl playing = spec). Or scrap it since so many people are afraid of it (don't know why).

Streaks are a great improvement.

Right now, the only thing that really needs to be done is to simply change the arena names, and if possible, fix the typo preventing wb races from working (other races work).

That issue has been fixed.

Minimally take away the "beta" from the name. If it's going to become permanent, make it that way.
