if you need help learning angles download aimenhancer suite from subspace downloads color kinda sucks so edit it to brighten it up even color code that lil red dot infront of the ship to it. it shows good shots and if you pay attention your smoke tail when cornering if you let off gas it it will show you what direction your will float takes a lil toying with but when running you coast jus off thier shoot line and makes it easier to dodge
you dont always have to try to change direction to dodge like driving east hitting full reverse to go west. just a change of speed as small as 15% is enough to mess with your enemy. also is a better way to change from running to rushing drop your speed bit by bit then make them run. plus less speed = less momentum wich = more reaction time but to slow no good.
crossing the nose: if your enemy has full power and his nose is point near you use sideways flying dont turn your ass or your nose at him unless you trying to draw fire because puts you at inefficient angle to dodge quick.
use up+down for reverse thrust always. will be arkward at first but is faster to go from forward to reverse and to forward plus sets up some funky angles that will confuse enemy. also can learn to run with this and spin your ship as you run/rush in a straightline and try to confuse enemy
im pretty stoned if any vet can try to explain any of the stuff i put down better please do

Mega Newbie's Tips
What to do when the enemy runs way too much - Whenever the enemy is a runner or play way too safe, you can use a simple method that's gonna completely destroy his way of playing.
Imagine you are playing one of these type of player: the enemy runs like a chicken and he won't fire, so you decide to shoot, but since he is playing so safe and running, he easily dodge your shot. Right after dodging, he fires. You dodge, and get ready to attack again, but then, he start running and the same thing repeats... again... and again.. and again... and forever. Till you get distracted and end up dying on his shots or till you get pissed off, rush and die , or till you lose your patience and break the computer. It is horrible to play against this type of player. But some play this way, and they end up winning the game just because you lose your patience.
Well, not anymore!!!
It is simple to destroy the runner's gameplay:
When he is running, follow him. But don't fire.
Yep.. Don't fire.
Just follow him.
I mean, the guy is running, and won't attack till you shoot first.
If you just follow him, and dont shoot, then you will leave him three options:
1- He still won't shoot -
Thanks God there are walls in this game. If he doesnt shoot, since he is running he will end up in a corner or something. Then you will have a chance to kill him.
2- He will decide to shoot -
If he shot going backwards, it will be easy to dodge and this will be a chance for you to try a rush attack and kill him.
If he decides to shoot a faster bullet,he will have to stop running and go foward. This will be the perfect chance to kill him.
3- He will stop running -
Good game.
Conclusion: When the enemy run way too much, don't shoot till you see he's gonna try something different other than running or till he gets trapped by the map limitations.
Kisses.

Continuating....
the images are explaining, better than words:
no matter how fast the bullet is. If you get ready for it in long and medium distances, you can dodge easily. That's how you dodge.
Alright. So now you got the idea on how to defend youself. Pratice it. Pratice this, till you understand how to do it.
Now you know how to dodge. However, even if this is a good way to dodge, it is not a good way to play.
Yep. It's a good way to dodge, but not a good way to play.
If you follow correctly all the instructions that I just gave about dodging, you are gonna start to play WAY TOO SAFE (MetalKid?).
You are gonna dodge nicely, and even do a good score ,but the games are going to be boring and take long, you are gonna play way too safe. You are gonna be a runner. And it its a team game like twdd, its gonna be bad for your team.
Ive seen many great skilled players and many twl's finals (which some i participated) be lost because the great players are playing way too safe. And most of times the other team has players that aren't so good, but they win the game just because they all are playing more agressive.
So my advice is to use that method of dodging, but in a safe agressive way, the same idea and everything, but agressive, not running. Even if its 1v1. Normally when its 1v1 and both are great players, the one who plays agressivier wins (not rushing or putting pressure, just agressive and safe).
You have to incentivate the enemy to go backwards, while you go foward, so when he attack, his bullets come slowers, and you won't really need to fully backward to dodge, but just stop a bit or go slowly backward to dodge. And when you attack, then he's gonna need to thrust and everything to be able to dodge.
That's it. Bye.
Maybe i will give more tips another day or maybe not. I feel like stoping posting and coming to the forums but maybe it's just a moment feeling. Bye.p

Today im gonna talk about...
Dodging
Alright. Dodging can be a bit complex, and each player has his own way for self defence.
However, I'm gonna share my knowledge and views here, so you can think about it and maybe review your dodging style to make it better.
Dodging is the most important factor that a good player has to dominate. Without dodging nicely, your entire way of playing will be ruined.
So... first of all... most wb players just... don't dodge. Yep.. they don't dodge.
they fool the enemies. It's different.
I will explain the difference.
Imagine theres a bullet, coming right directly at you. You notice it and then be fast enough to move your ship away from the place. You, my friend, dodged.
Now, Imagine theres an enemy close to you. you are constantly moving, and then, by your experience, you just "feel" he is going to fire at a certain moment. So you stop your ship at the correct time. Then, the enemy shoots and miss you. You didn't really dodge here, you fooled the enemy.
See the difference? I recommend fooling the enemy in close distances, the warbird bullet is way too fast to be dodged in close battles. You have to fool the enemy.
But for medium and long distances, you have to dodge. There's enough time to do that. The main reason that separates the good players from the bad players is the dodging. Bad players never dodge, they try to fool their enemies in medium distances, and in long distances they don't worry about being attacked.
Good players dodge in long and medium distances, and fool their enemies in close battles. That's what you have to do.
Today, im not gonna teach how to fool, but how to dodge.
Something thing i'd like to say here is that some people think that dodging has everything to do with reflex. "He can dodge because he has a good reflex" <-- That's Bullshit. the difference of reflex from me to you or anyone else is minimal when it comes about playing this game. Maybe the level of concentration will matter, but not the reflex.
Alright....
"i don't want to read texts and think too much about the game, show us how to dodge already bitch"
Oh.. ok.. ok.. calm down.. calm down... ok...ok..
So.. you fired a bullet and missed the enemy, or you are without energy and the enemy just appeared in your radar/screen. You know he's gonna attack you. You know's it's time to dodge.
OK. HERE'S THE ENEMY:
The first thing you have to do is think about an imaginary line, This line represents the perfect shoot by the enemy. The shoot that would kill you:
Good. Now if that shoot turns into reality, your brain has one step less to think about, because the situation already in your mind and you are ready for it. It won't be a surprise.
The process of dodging start before you can even see the bullet coming.
You need to get ready for the eventual attack, so I advice you to slowly go backwards, following the line of the perfect shot. This will give you more time to dodge.
Notice that the enemy will constantly move, so the imaginary line will constantly move also and so will you.
Alright. The enemy decides to shoots. If you notice the shot isnt following the perfect line and nowhere close from it. You know he missed, and then, you dont need to worry about dodging anymore, Its your time to attack now.
However, if the enemy did aim correctly. The bullet will be coming at least close to the imaginary line. It's time to dodge.....

Mega Newbie's Tips
The illusional fast recharge "hack" - I was called "cheater" many times just for using this simple method, which cause many players get confused and believe theres a hack.
The warbird has 1500 energy. and it takes 1350 energy to fire a bullet. Some players just don't wait their energy get full, they keep constantly shooting. Thats how their energy looks like in a battle:
0...1350...0...1350...0...1350...0...1350..0..
If you notice that you are playing one of these players that constantly fire, all you have to do is wait your energy get full and then fire at the same time as him, and then at the next shooting he's dead. You will get a 150 energy advantage thats gonna surprise him.
his energy:
1350.......0.......1200
your energy:
1500.....150......1350
That's when you kill him. Having full energy doesnt give you advantage at the first shot, but at the second one.
"you cheater! How did you reacharge so fast? we did fire at the same time!"
Rushing
Here are my Tips for rushing:
Efficient energy use - Someday I asked 5 random players to go on a private arena to race. The rules was: Everyone would be on levs,no specials,no shooting, and run on a straight line (the same line for everyone, with no rocks on the way) across the map, till the end.
Even tought it looks like a simple race, there were 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and 5th places, by huge differences.
The 1st place would wait all his energy get full, so then he would thrust it all, while the 5th place would constantly use the energy, not waiting it fully recover.
It is simple to understand how it works. Every time you thrust your ship has first to accelerate to then, finally, get the maximum velocity. In other words: Every time you accelerate, you are wasting precious energy. Everytime you thrust, you lose energy for accelerating, till the ship gets at the maximum velocity, thats where the energy is wasted in a inneficient manner! The ship acceleration process is the problem. Its like a car. It takes more energy to make it start moving.
Now, many players naturally know that what im trying to say. However, rare are the players that use this lesson on the gameplay.
Whenever you are rushing, you have to thrust less times possible, and when thrusting, use it the maximum possible. This way you are going to use your energy in an efficient way.
If you enemy is running from you, and he did thrust 2 times, and you are following him, but only used thrust 1 time, then you got an energy advantage. Thats how you get energy advantage when rushing. It's time to kill him.
Same thing is used to know when to stop rushing. If you are following ur enemy, but he used thrust 1 time and to follow him you used 2 times, then its better you to go away, your enemy got more energy advantage than you.
"you cheater!!! how did you get so much energy??? I'm calling the mods"
Follow the enemy right behind at him - When rushing, follow the enemy right behind at him, this because, if he bounces in a rock, you will do it too. When this constanly happens, you not only let him not go away, but it shows how a great rusher you are and hes gonna shit in his pants when he sees your awesome following.

Godamnit.. I just wrote A LOT about STRAYS... but when i tried to post it occuried an error and i lost everything. Damnit! I don't feel like writing everything again, I will do that another day. But since im here writing anyway I will leave a fast "tip" today so all my effort isnt lost.
Mega Newbie's Tip of the day
"The stray that isn't really a stray" -
in a 1v1, or even 1v2, whenever the enemy isn't in you radar, ask your teamates in spec for the enemy's coordinates, this way, you can fire at the right direction and kill the enemy with a shot.
I won many 1v1 by this way. People would complain after the game how It was a lucky stray. But the reality is that it was an aimed long distance shot. No luck, no stray, just a smart way to play.
Try it.

Mega Newbie's Tips
- When your enemy (or you... or the server) is lagging - If you know theres lag in the game, you have to play safe, in a long distance. This because if you play too close , the enemy will eventually surprise you, eat the bullet and kill you. And you are going to get mad. However, if you play in a long distance,it doesnt really matter if the enemy eats, because it won't really interfer in your game. The enemy can't eat every shot, he will eventually die.
- 2v2 situation -
translating: voce = you / inimigo = enemy / aliado = teamate
Whenever you are in this type of situation, try to kill the enemy that is facing your ally, not the enemy that is facing you. This because the enemy that is facing you is ready for your attack, he is ready to dodge and everything, because he is the closest one to you and he knows that. But the enemy that is facing your ally, isnt expecting your attack.
- 2vs1 -
In this case you arent the "1" .. you are in the team that has 2 players.
Whenever you get in that situation, try to fire in different moments than your teamate. Ive seen many people lose 2 vs 1 games just because they fire at the damn same time!
The problem of shooting at the same time is that you give the enemy a chance to attack. He is going to attack one of you and you or your ally wont be able to do anything.
So, whenever you play in a 2 vs 1 , pay attention and fire at different moments than your ally, because then your enemy won't have a chance to attack, all he is going to have to do is to dodge. If he wants to attack, he's gonna risk himself.
I give more tips...
Another day...

Fun.. no???
Like I said, maybe many ppl will get aware since im turning this public. but I did use that method to escape from these situation many times. And its fucking fun. The enemies get all like "WTF" , facing the wall, while you... are miles away....
the advantage you get from doing that is HUGE. You not only escape from the enemies, but you get a lot of time to recharge your energy. I mean, while you bounce from the wall, you enemies are going to face the wall, stop their ship, notice that you are getting away, think, turn their ships 180 degress, and then, finally, go after you. They lose precious time.
Think about it....
I will give more tips... another day...
