Extremely good ideas for both betting on twl games and fantasy twl using pub money.

The fantasy aspect is cool but it might be a bit difficult for the pubbers to know who's good and what not.

I'd say that the straight-forward, win/lose betting works best. I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to figure out spreads. Then come playoffs, it could be like college basketball where you make your own brackets. I'm interested.

All the more reason to do it. We can only gain from this.

Pubbers will grab more interest into TWL, and those that dont know who the good players are will learn who they are. There is no downsidr to this.

jailing the dude is bit much, fine him $100 for every X number of teamkills.

Who is really going to sit in the jail and let themselves get strayed? I would just esc+q, and say fuck it, i'll log back in later (or fuck this game, i'm not coming back, for most pubbers)

another random idea with pub: have a jail / fines and such. TK someone get locked out of TKing ships until you pay the fine. don't pay your fine in X amount of time or commit a certain offense too many times: get locked in jail. (3x3 tile cell) have a friend pay your bail :fear:

Fantasy can just be another smaller part attached to of betting site, but I agree the standard bets with spreads and a bonus if you pick MVP should be primary goal.

pick 5 javs

Costs $1000 spacebucks or whatever amount to enter, plays like any fantasy league. Another reward for playing pub and becoming interested in more TWL games.

Really good idea, thanks Vatican.
I'll discuss it with Arobas and see if we can develop something like that. It might be too late for this season, but def. a good idea for the next one!
