Everytime I log in it reminds me of visiting a relative on their death bed. I truly enjoyed the time I spent with them, and I enjoy spending time with them now...but its not the same, and I spend the entirety of the visit enjoying fond memories and ultimately the experience is nostalgic but unsatisfying and depressing. Started watching walking dead, and if you've seen it aswell you'd know that the group doesn't survive by crying over the fact that the worlds gone to shit, people they loved are fuckin dead, and theres no guarantee of a safe place waiting for them. What does get them by is their drive to protect what they have now, and eachother.

New players do come, and they stay for the same reasons we all did, cuz the community is sick. I talked to somebody on dice who just started playing awhile ago cant remember his name but he said just that. If all the ppl who play are depressed emos itll push new players away that shits just unnatractive.
