Yeah, it's definitely a little sad to see elim dead like this. I remember a time where it was baseelim that died and elim remained active.

baseelim's activity came as a sacrifice to .?go javs though, i wasn't around when elim and baseelim were combined so I wouldnt know but i just think that people would get pissed if they have to spec and wait on what they want to play if combined

Good 2 have a message that reminds oldies to pick some newbies, but yeah, implementing the pub bux into ?go base would be nice too. Should add some sort of system to wbduel, javduel, elim, and baseelim too.

They certainly need to be combined. There aren't enough people on these days to keep both populated and active. Also, the streaks can stay. In fact, they would be more meaningful because someone might have to win a warbird elim and then a jav elim. Another bonus would be that people might actually get good at more than their comfort ship. I personally think it would be perfect... It would be foolish not to.

I'm not saying I don't appreciate what you as Staff do, but I feel like you guys are full of excuses. Real life obviously plays a factor, but elim has been "in progress" for like a year. Devise a new rating system, do some cash prizes, map winners, monthly updates on stats, all that good crap. Give people a reason to be motivated to play.

my propose: old elim back(i'll recode it by reverse engineering), the elim that priit created, everyone starts with rating of 500, then increases and get stable according with k:d and when k+d >= 500
of course i'm goin to use some crazy logn formula to excite the players and get harder and harder to rank. this means !resetscore won't exist anymore too, just will each after twd ends, twdt, etc.
and there will be a relation with the pub money

I agree with the people here. Why combine? Try adding incentives so people want to play elim, like idk "pub bucks" for winning or mvping.

People want belim and elim running at the same time in the same arena, not to be forced to do one or the other... That is just a terrible idea, why would anyone possibly think that would boost activity? It's just plain dumb, it does not add anything, it only takes away.

Stop trying to force people to do shit they do not want to do.
