Hello amigos and fellow space friends!
As history shows, our game first took flight in 1995 and soared through the early 2000s, peaking before 2005. Every five years or so, disruption would shake things up—declining around 2010, then rising and falling again in 2015 with the Steam update. For the past decade, our population has held steady, with 2020 and the Covid era bringing many pilots back into the fold.
Now, in response to popular demand and to address our zone’s current needs, we’re excited to announce yet another season of TWDT—brought to you by RaCka, Riverside, and myself.
This season is extra special, as we’re celebrating our 30th birthday! (The original client was made in 1995).
What’s in store:
While the core structure will remain familiar, expect a few subtle changes and some exciting news coming in late August / early September as we expand our player list and ramp up advertising.
A huge thanks to the dozens of you already helping this season with your unique skills—our doors are always open to more help and fresh ideas!

- 🏆 Fierce competition for top-tier players and juicy reviews, HoNs, etc.
- 🌌 A warm welcome to both returning veterans and brand-new recruits.
- 🎁 Special incentives for true old-timers and players new to TW.
- 📅 Flexible scheduling to fit your family and work life: all official games on Sundays from 2–5 PM EST, plus optional weekday matches moderated by us.
- ⚽ Collaboration with our friends in Hockey Zone and Chaos, as they are also hosting major tournies!

Important Dates:
- Draft Date: September 14 or September 21 (TBD)
- Projected End: Late October to mid-November (final date depends on signups and team count; the season will wrap before U.S. Thanksgiving week, November 23–30).
- Minimum: 8 captains to ensure top-quality games and teams.
