UPDATED, Now that the TWLB Squads have been chosen:


1. Dice - Not much changed here. Koan went back to -F-, but that's one in a spider core that is deep and seems to be unmatched by any other squad. They are definitely the favorites to win TWLB, though I would like to see someone else win.

Lineup: Cape (Terr), Cig Smoke/a2m (sharks), megaman89/cripple/stayon/mikes/paska (spiders. necro could also fit in there for spider or shark)

Players to watch out for: megaman89, a2m


2. Pandora - Well, they seem to have rebounded from their slight slump with the return of Eelam. These guys are very good, their spiders can definitely match up with Dice's, so the Pandora vs. Dice match will definitely come down to the sharks and terriers. Also I'm not sure if PhzY is seriously terring for them in TWLB, but if he is, that could cause some problems, as he is fairly new to basing, though he is playing well.

Lineup: PhzY (terrier), Vatican Assasin/Max B (sharks), sarger/Zung/Mouse/totem/Rip Van Winkle (spiders)

Players to watch out for: Zung, sarger


3. Spastic - Well these guys seem serious about TWLB this season, and when they give a shit about winning, they're as good as any squad out there. Hopefully P_L still has another good season in him so that terring isn't a problem. Overall, very solid.

Lineup: Pure_luck (terr), Stabwound/PH (sharks), shayde/flibb/Jamal/solidify/apt (spiders)

Players to watch out for: shayde, flibb, apt


4. Mambo - Had a little scare today, they almost didn't qualify for TWLB, but they pulled out a nice victory over BasingCrew at the end to secure their spot. Overall they're one of the most experienced and best squads out there, I just worry about the terring. Also, if they don't show their top spider line every game, they might have problems there.

Lineup: Nycle (terr), fizzy/Pred_FNM (sharks), Remu/Lionheart/xvr/Invincible/Regency (spiders)

Players to watch out for: fizzy, Invincible


5. -FINAL- - As usual, they will do fine in TWLB, won't win it this year though, but will do fine.

Lineup: Everett (terr), Windreaper/Pjotter (sharks), koan/Sika/vihta/Pempu/Domi (spiders)

Players to watch for: Sika (as usual), Everett


6. Thunder - They got a sudden surge of basers into their squad and started playing really well. They've gotten very good and will hold their own in most matches, and win the majority.

Lineup: chino (terr), PaulO/Dyers (sharks), Jrahen/Ease/NL>Terminator/Wheen/Hockeydude (spiders)

Players to watch out for: Jrahen, chino


7. BasingCrew - Have impressed me the past few days, though I am still worried about their terr situation, because neither Zizzo or Sumpson is consistent enough, so hopefully JeBu can show up.

Lineup: JeBu (terr), Herik/fire phoenix (sharks), Leitz/trouper/Dutch Baser/Nostromo/Rauta (spiders)

Players to watch out for: trouper, Rauta


8. Disoblige - Ah, the ever-underestimated Disoblige that always seems to put those estimations to rest every season. Well, you'll probably do better than this, but on paper, I just don't see it. If warportal comes back, they're in good shape.

Lineup: warportal (terr), Ignominy/Eggs R Evil or X Machine (whoever shows up, sharks), Anon/Phrenitis/Desperate/bram/Displaced (spiders)

Players to watch out for: warportal, Ignominy


9. Anti-Scrub - Always a contender for every match they play, seem weaker than usual this season though. Brookus and his sharks will singlehandedly win them a couple of games, but their spiders don't seem up to par once you get past Sprained and Solace, and I didn't include holydude because I'm not sure if he's rusty or not playing or what.

Lineup: brookus (terr), za gophar/jr5 (sharks), Holydude/Sprained/Solace/Aqua/Suzie-Q (spiders)

Players to watch out for: brookus, za gophar


10. Penetrate - Everyone, including myself, thought they were down and out, but somehow today, they renewed TW's faith and in a dramatic series of BD's, somehow managed to qualify for TWLB (mostly because ancients were morons). If they can manage to score a consistent terr and maybe a few more TWL caliber spiders, they'll be good to go.

Lineup: Redbull (terrier), Jeenyuss/Veloce (sharks), pavement/schope/royst/Tsumetai/dchao (spiders)

Players to watch out for: pavement, schope


11. Well, they have auto-qualified but they lost all their pure basers. All they have now is their warbird/javelin players who can also base, so I don't see them doing that well. If they have their top line on, they're a force to be reckoned with, but they just don't have the depth in my opinion.

Lineup: Rough (terr), fireballz/Confluence (sharks), demonfaze/dazzal/amputate/death row/cranium (spiders)

Players to watch out for: demonfaze, fireballz


12. Not going to give my squad a ranking, so I'm putting us dead last. We'll see what we can manage to pull off this season.

Lineup: menelvagor (terr), Legionair/adman (sharks), hellkite/voth/smack/oink/(rodal/beer hunter/marchello/herb/enflame/disrespectful, whoever shows up and is playing well will be in the 5th spot, spiders)
