TWEL 2v2 Tournament

After a long wait, it’s finally here! We will be having a 2v2 Tournament, that will commence on December 29th. This will be a first come first served basis. We will have 3 divisions (WB / Jav / Spider) you can play in, so let the hype train begin!


Qualifications:


There will be no required play for qualifications!


There will be, however, an entry fee in its stead! There will be $1,000,000 dollar pub bux fee per player, per league to enter into the tournament.


Please sign up as soon as possible!


Tournament Rules:

• The format will be a Best of 3 duels to 5 deaths in the duel2 arena, Finals will be a best of 5 to 5 deaths.
• All matches must be played back to back
• All matches will be played in the duel2 arena
• If anyone should play 1 round and quit without a good reason of postponement, they will forfeit
• There will be no practice matches against anyone on the other team during the week
• You will have 1 week to complete your match. If you can not get a hold of the other team or schedule anything, please message me immediately. If matches are not complete, I will see who was on the most, or most available, and if there is no discernable winner, I will do a coin toss as we will not have any time extensions

Sign up deadline is December 28th, 11:59 PM


I will announce the brackets no later than December 29th!


Week 1 ends: January 5th 11:59 PM EST

Week 2 ends: January 12th 11:59 PM EST

Week 3 ends: January 19th 11:59 PM EST

Week 4 will be played at a scheduled time, on January 26th, and will be recorded.


Entrants:


You will need to sign up by messaging Tiny in game or by posting on these forums. You will not be entered into the tournament until funds have been received for your team in lieu of standard qualification games


Funds will be sent to “Tournament Director” in game and kept until there are winners


Purse:


Each winner will receive 20 Million Pub bux (32,000,000 from Entrants split plus 4,000,000 from Staff)


Each winner will receive Tournament Medals


Each winner will receive a share of Cash donated for this event

Please message me in game if you would like to donate toward the winner’s pot.


Each winner will be posted in the duel2 arena


*Notes

• We already have two anonymous cash donations. Anyone willing to donate, please contact me.
• We are aiming for 16 teams in each division. If we have more than expected signup, we may open the tournament up a bit early, but will keep to the deadlines. If you are of the late sign ups, you could be made to play an extra game early, so sign up first to avoid this.
