Summer Cup final predictions
Exiting cup competition is on its final straight, with only finals to play for. Let's analyze the finalists and see who has better chances ending the season with trophy:
BTW, i managed to get 3 out of 4 predictions right for wb/jav, while tpz got 0 right for base. So suck it beast, i am the best.
WB
Like riverside stated, its wrong to count mythril out, he pulled out the big guns, when it mattered most, going 19-9 vs seriously weakened Punk team in r2, after shock loss in r1. In all honesty, neither myself or commodo (no offence) should play in this competiton, with spawnisen and turban being regular starters over majority of season. We also beat filthy pretty comfortably in main season with our main line in game.
The fact that we managed to put up good fight shows that filthy got a bit lucky with opponent and needs to step up the game.
I predicted Nasty to be best team for wb, and I still stand that they should be considered heavy favorites. They had to face lifeban, arguably second best team, in semis and managed to win, while also losing game 1, pulling it together in last 2. They also beat filthy in main season. Unless there are some important players missing in finals, i see Nasty as favorite in this matchup.

I predicted Thunder and Terrorist to be 2 best teams in the league and after some main season struggles, they managed to come out top in semis.
Terrorist really missed temujin in main season, but with him added to line, they dispatched Punk, coming out undefeated in main season without big issues. Temu, rough, dw, hypo and myth is really strong team and if they manage to get this lineup for finals as well, they will be hard to beat.
Pure Luck put up good fight against Thunder, managing also to win game 1, but in the end zidane, draft, ease, jura and dwopple came out on top. Dwopple and ease performances in r2 and r3 being especially impressive. Thunder has been using both dwopp and absurd in their games, but looks like dwop really stepped up in semis. Still that 5th member in Thunder lineup is a questionmark, while if Terrorist has temu showing, they do not have that issue. So i see Terrorist being a small favorite in the final, but difference between 2 teams is much narrower compared to wb.
BASE
Unleash and Terrorist were best base teams in main season, both losing only 1 game, Terrorist loss coming against Unleash, but that game they missed their main terrier zizu, so it does not count that much. Unleash had really tight games vs Culled, after losing with just 1 minute to Culled in main season, they got nice revenge in 2 games in semis, both games being very equal and second game in the end ending with just 4 second difference.
Unleash has tested quite a few lineups over the course of season, but looks like mikkiz/commodo, genx/ra, stayon, renzi, henry saari and racka have established as starting lineup, with wbm/raazi also available as subs.
Terrorist has zizu, zid/cig, cripple, banks, tj, dw and unlimited in their lineup with Tripin and groan waiting as bench options. Terrorist has yet to lose a game with that lineup, so i consider them small favorites in the finals, but looking closely at teams, they are closely matched.
Arguably 2 best terriers with solid shark support and highly competent spiders, base will come down to tiny details and if all key players have a good day.
