We know most of the Dutchies probably won't show. Thats at most 20 people, whereas there are another 200 some players. Pjotter, just try to make sure that one of your asst's will show.

It was either play the games at like 9am West Coast time on a Sunday (people have church/drunken stupor) or play the game at 11pm-12am in Europe. Nobody wants to wake up early for a game, but more people will stay up late for a game.

TWL is on a schedule, so TWDT could not afford to take another week off.

Games will be played back to back on the half hours as was done last weekend.

I would like your opinions on the start time though.

Your options are:

a) 4:30 est - This would start games about 15-20 minutes after the conclusion of the world cup finals and have games end at approximately 6 est (more reasonable ending time for europeans, while still respecting the sanctity of the WC finals)

b) 5 est - This would allow more time, 45-50 minutes for people to return and get online after the conclusion of the world cup finals (maybe even watch the awarding of the trophy?). However, consequently games will end at 6:30 est which I know is late for europeans. (because 22 minutes makes a world of difference right?)

I will be gathering opinions for 24 hrs or less here, then I will post which option we have decided to go with in this thread.
