I put a bit of time and effort into creating a new scheduling system this year, in an attempt to make sure every team has a balanced schedule. Thanks to Turban and SNSD Sooyoung for helping out with the math and insights.
Using the Draft Review grades, I've rated each TWDT Team 1 to 8. The team ranked #1 in either TWDT-D, TWDT-J, or TWDT-D will always play #7 in Week 1, #2 in Week 2, #4 in Week 3, #8 in Week 4, #5 in Week 5, #3 in Week 6, and #6 in Week 7.
No team plays any of the Top 3 teams in a consecutive week. This is less relevant in TWDT-J, where there is a ton of depth this year and almost every team is good (and the rankings between 3-6 fairly arbitrary), but far more relevant in TWDT-D and TWDT-B, where the strength of teams is far more stratified.
Also, no team can occupy the same spot in more than one league (i.e., Ease can't be #1 in more than one league for scheduling purposes, to increase the probability of a healthy mix of easy and difficult games on any given week), so some teams were moved up or down one spot, even if a bit stronger than another.
It's by no means perfect, but I think it's a big improvement over traditional scheduling, and I hope it gets adopted in TWL, so this will be a good trial run. I like this idea especially as someone on Sage S16 who faced the top 4 teams in the first 4 weeks that led to it dissolving.
Without further ado, here is your TWDT 2015 Schedule:
