TWDT-D
Brexit
High Stars: 10
Low Stars: 9
Chemistry: 10
Showrate: 9
Overall: A+
TWLD and TWDT-D Champion Iron Survivor teams up with Force alumni Attacks and TWDT star Geio to lead Brexit's high star assault on the league, with Guero, Top, and Olde as uninspiring backups.
Their low stars are Ro, who, if he shows, is amazing at 7-Stars (these TWDT ratings are pretty questionable, IMO) while Temujin, Cloth, Jebass, and J-B-Inc are also good options. At the 6-Star spot I see Omega is still somehow a 6-Star, which is pretty unreal, so Brexit is fucking loaded at every star level.
All of these guys have good showrates and attitudes and many have played together before. This is, in my opinion, the best TWDT-D squad this season.
Paladin
High Stars: 10
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 6
Showrate: 8
Overall: A-
Paladin also has a beast of a lineup in warbird, with 17x TWDT-D Champion Vys, alongside WB legend Racka and a strong third in Tanzu.
Jessup and Mohammad are insane value at 7-Star, and while I don't see any standout 6-Stars, I'm sure one of those guys are serviceable.
Their superstars have played plenty of seasons together at various times, and while I see a lot of cancerous personalities, the sheer level of talent and potential for a title could keep them in line and playing if things break right.
Power
High Stars: 9
Low Stars: 10
Chemistry: 9
Showrate: 6
Overall: A-
Okyo the god will have plenty of tools around him to take the chip, with 10-Stars Weak and Ricko alongside him, and Beam and Zidane as backups. Weak and Ricko's showrates are suspect, which is the only thing holding this team back in my mind.
Trasher is crazy value at 7-Star, while Bacon is also breaking ankles in TWDD, making this the best dual threat in the league at this star level.
Aprix, Kim, and Henry Saari present good value at the 6, and these are all easy to manage personalities. If it wasn't for Weak only showing 50% and Ricko disappearing at times, this team would be rated higher, although look for Bacon and Trasher to actually outplay their star value so significantly that the absence of those high stars won't even be noticed.
ALF
High Stars: 8
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 9
Showrate: 7
Overall: B+
Mythril, Delectable, Reaver, and Jones headline a strong TWDT-D team that represent a guaranteed title... in 2008.
Delectable is a shell of what he once was, I've never seen Reaver show for a league game in 5 years, Jones frequently misses games and isn't active, and Mythril, while still one of the best warbirds in the game, isn't the same unstoppable force that almost singlehandedly took down Fierce in TWLD 17 with a performance for the ages.
Major Crisis, maketso, and not u all are great value at the 7, while I struggle to see any viable players at the 6. Turban is also an option at the high star slot, but has limited availability and doesn't represent an upgrade over the other four 9+ star players.
Baratheon
High Stars: 7
Low Stars: 7
Chemistry: 8
Showrate: 4
Overall: D
Racketeer is an absolute beast, and completely dominated TWDT-D and TWLD last year. Kentaro is a grizzled veteran who was a great warbird in his prime. If both show, Baratheon should be competitive. But that's a big if. I have no idea who Zazu is or why he's rated an 8, but then again I don't know why a lot of these ratings are what they are.
Kado and Ogron are solid 7-Stars, while Hulk could be a difference-maker at the 6. A lack of depth or activity at the high star level are probably the kiss of death here, but if Racketeer and Kentaro show, it would incentivize a move in the FA draft to add a 3rd warbird, which could make the line competitive to go along with some good low stars.
Terrorist
High Stars: 5
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 9
Showrate: 8
Overall: D
Dreamwin headlines this team, almost carrying Terrorist to a title the past two seasons with gutsy decision-making, long-range accuracy, and the will of the warrior. It won't be enough as Rasaq has been pretty sub-par in warbird the past few years, WAR is a wb in name only, and Foxy will never show.
Zizzo is a phenomenal value at 7-Star, and was a complete super-duper star in every league last year. He was on my draft list but DW took him early. Afri and Server could also work at that level.
No one stands out at the six, but I don't like anyone here outside of Dreamwin and Zizzo.Last edited by ogron; 04-11-2017, 02:00 PM.

TWDTJ
Power
High Stars: 10
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 9
Showrate: 10
Overall: A+
Winner of 4 consecutive TWLJ titles Zidane leads a stacked TWDT-J superteam, alongside fellow jav extraordinaire Roiwerk, with Trasher, Okyo, Aprix, Kim, and Weak as potential thirds.
Holy shit.
Bacon will likely start at the 7 as he leads TWJD in almost every stat and is Zid's "secret weapon" or some crap, while Ellis D. is almost broken at the 6.
Good luck beating this team.
Terrorist
High Stars: 9
Low Stars: 10
Chemistry: 10
Showrate: 8
Overall: A
Terrorist won TWDT-J 2016 (Winter) and finished second TWDT-J 2016 (Fall), and they look primed to reach a third consecutive final.
Dreamwin and Kess headline this powerful squad, with either Havok or Ra filling out the third spot -- a noticeable downgrade as neither has ever done anything in TWLJ or TWDT-J. They should look to shore up this weakness.
Zizzo is, once again, completely broken in rating (did vys even watch TWDT 2016?) and will be bonkers value at 7-Star. If they add a better third option at the high star slot, Power will be at a disadvantage solely off the rating of Zizzo.
Lots of options at the 6, and while they're not as deep as Power, they're definitely contenders.
Brexit
High Stars: 9
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 8
Showrate: 6
Overall: B+
Another talented TWDT-J lineup, with Commodo leading the pack. Tiny's activity is a concern, and he has stated he won't show much, so definitely an issue. Iron Survivor has proven he's a legitimate threat in javelin, while Geio, Ro, and Temujin provide good options for when Tiny doesn't log in.
Omega Red will likely start at the 7-Star slot, while I see some solid options at the 6.
Look for this to be a tough out come playoff time and a dark horse for the title.
ALF
High Stars: 8
Low Stars: 10
Chemistry: 7
Showrate: 3
Overall: B
If Turban shows for TWDT-J, they will be solid. If Turban doesn't show, this team will struggle mightily. Singer is a great jav if he shows, while Shaun is criminally underrated and a great jav. Reaver has never shown for anything TWDT-related, while Major's star-rating is a bit too rich for my blood, and maketso, while excellent, also hasn't shown much of late. Fork should be a 3-star.
Mythril is crazy-good value at 7-Star, as is Rab, giving delectable some of the best options in the zone, while Rozay, not u, or Beasty should be serviceable at the 6-Star.
This lineup looks like it will be plagued by no shows, and even if they do show, their best players aren't as good as Power/Brexit/Terrorist's best players.
Baratheon
High Stars: 7
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 5
Showrate: 5
Overall: C
TWDT-J teams across the board are all pretty talented, this squad less so than a lot of others. Nevertheless, it should still be competitive if Revered shows to lead Rampage and Kado, given that Baratheon has some strong low stars and multi-leaguers who know how to compete. Hellkite and Cripple give them some depth as well.
Spectacular and Hulk should provide great value at the 7-Star, while Ogron, Racketeer, and Zazu take over the 6.
Paladin
High Stars: 8
Low Stars: 3
Chemistry: 2
Showrate: 7
Overall: C
Paladin should be competitive in TWDT-J, with Vys, Mohammed, Racka, and Mean Gene all very talented high star players, even if their ceiling is lower than other teams in terms of All-Star talent. Kira is a solid backup.
Some serious weaknesses present themselves at the 7-Star, where I don't see a standout player. Some okay options at the 6.
Will Mohammad show? Will Mean Gene play for Jessup or cry and complain like he typically does? Some potential, but also some serious questions.Last edited by ogron; 04-10-2017, 03:37 PM.

TWDTB
Baratheon
High Stars: 10
Low Stars: 9
Chemistry: 9
Showrate: 10
Overall: A+
Undefeated in TWDT-B history, Baratheon will look for their third basing title in three attempts.
Ogron will look to reach his seventh consecutive basing final in terr, ahead of Porkjet/Hulk/Markmrw in shark, representing the deepest shark pool in the league. Cripple and Hellkite will lead their spiders, as the TWLB Finals MVPs seek to dominate the over.
TJ Hazuki, Kado, and Holy Ship will cover their 7-Star slots as some of the best value spiders available, and Banks/Willby will start at the 6-Star spot.
With depth at every position, a low drama roster, and high showrates, expect Baratheon to be tough to beat.
Terrorist
High Stars: 10
Low Stars: 9
Chemistry: 10
Showrate: 9
Overall: A+
The defending TWDT-B Champions will look to repeat and claim their third title (they're tied with Baratheon as the only repeat winners) and reach a third consecutive basing final, as Dreamwin's domination of TWDT shows no signs of slowing down.
He'll start either Zizzo or Heaven in terrier, with the legendary Dwopple headlining the shark position, alongside WAR. Heaven and WAR are both 7s representing a lot of potential value, making Terrorist a scary opponent.
Dreamwin, Kess, Davy, Zizzo, Ra, and Rasaq form one of the top spider lines in the zone, and should be a force.
Bellflowers, AFRI, Waz., Heaven, WAR, Server, and idkidc should be excellent at the 7, while World is crazy good value at the 6.
This team is extremely deep and talented, with more 8+ star players than any time while having some of the best low star players in the league. There are no weaknesses to speak of. This team is a juggernaut.
Brexit
High Stars: 9
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 7
Showrate: 7
Overall: A-
Pressure will look to lead Brexit to the title, and as one of the only two dominant terriers left in the game, he will present a significant advantage to his team this season, giving them a good shot a the chip.
He'll team up with 2x TWLB champion Commodo, one of the best sharks in the game, and Omega Red, who helped Power reach the finals in shark last season with excellent play. Their terr/shark core is unmatched except for perhaps Baratheon, and should be tough to tackle.
Mcivcar and Ro lead their spider contigent, and are top tier basers, although questions as to whether Ro will show up linger.
Geio won as a low star in 2016, so he should be a great under spider, while Olde, Iron, and Pat B are solid options at the 7-Star as well. GLYDE is probably the 3rd best 6-star spider in the draft, and a great pickup.
Power
High Stars: 8
Low Stars: 8
Chemistry: 5
Showrate: 9
Overall: B
Power will look to make its mark by having the best shark and best spider in the game right now.
Aprix is a great terrier at 7-Stars, but the odds of him showing every week are very low. I don't see a viable option outside of Trasher, who they can't afford to terr if they want to win a title. Look for them to make a trade at some point.
Zidane is the best shark in the game, and if he doesn't make half his roster quit, should be a force to reckon with, while Vehicle's rating seems bad and represents a weak spot to me at the 8-Star slot in shark.
Trasher is a god-tier spider, while Bacon is tearing up the zone in TWD. Henry Saari and Pavement are great spiders, while Ricko is no slouch. This gives them a solid foundation to compete.
Okyo is a monster at 7-Star in spider, giving them an edge, while Afghan, nosydawg, and Aprix are all great 7s. Beam is one of the best 6-Star basers in the draft, but questions about whether he'll show and his attitude remain.
The terr situation, their 2nd shark, Beam, and Zid's unfettered rage when they lose TWDT-B games leave me uneasy about considering them true contenders, but the potential is definitely there.
ALF
High Stars: 7
Low Stars: 7
Chemistry: 7
Showrate: 4
Overall: C
Tough to rank Paladin and ALF. Paladin's roster actually has the talent to compete for the title (but 99% won't), while ALF has zero chance to win the title but should maximize their potential and be competitive and outperform Paladin over the course of the season.
Major Crisis is a solid terrier and defending champion, anchoring their line, although Maketso represents much better value as a 7-Star who would perform similarly. I expect Major to show and start, and Maketso to be a ghost.
Mythril is a very good shark who should help make this team a threat, with either Major Crisis (if Maketso shows) or Nokkonen if he doesn't.
Turban is a top three spider in the zone (if he shows), leading a talented Reaver (if he shows), and a solid starter in Rab.
Maketso, Nokkonen, and Rozay represent good value at the 7, while Shaun could be an underrated start at the 6.
This team won't win the league, but could be very competitive and maybe steal a playoff spot.

Mohammad is the third best terr in the league if he shows/cares, neither of which are likely.
Oderus is a good shark in TWDT, but lacks a partner.
Spezza is one of the best spiders in the history of the game, but rarely shows. WBM and Sphinx are elite, veteran spiders, who mostly don't show.
Mean Gene has a shitty attitude.
This team has a lot of potential in base. If their entire roster showed and cared, they could be contenders with a trade for a shark. The odds of that happening are about 1 in 100,000.
I expect this team to finish dead last by a significant margin.Last edited by ogron; 04-11-2017, 02:43 AM.

Conclusion
I think it should be a fun and competitive season, with Henry Saari and Vys doing a good job thus far as TWDT Ops and the league heading in the right direction. Hopefully the Hot or Not writers lined up keep the zingers flying and salt levels high.
The nice thing about the new blood at the top is they've made some interesting changes, particularly in teams making the playoffs per league, and not overall, meaning all six teams have a very good shot at making the playoffs in at least one league.
I thought Attacks did a great job drafting, with a team that has good chances in every league, as Brexit (A+ B+ A-) looks to truly dominate TWDT-D. Zidane was similarly ambitious, with Power (A- A+ B) covering all their bases while remaining favorites in TWDT-J.
Dreamwin has made 6 of the last 6 finals, and will look to make it 9 of 9, as the winningest team in TWDT history continues its dominance with a fresh new roster. Terrorist (D A A+) should have great chances in base and jav, but will definitely have an uphill battle in making a third consecutive TWDT-D Final. ALF (B+ B C) spread its talent across the board, as Delectable makes his first stint as captain, and should be competitive in everything, with his best chance in warbird.
Ogron, meanwhile, focused mainly in base, as Baratheon (D C A+) are likely favorites in TWDT-B, although if a few things break their way, they could make a splash in jav or warbird. Jessup's Paladin (A- C D-) should be beasts in TWDT-D, solid in jav, and terrible in base.
Also, be sure to read Okyo's TWDT-D 2017 Draft Review, head over to Commodo's TWDT-J 2017 Draft Review, and peruse Trasher's TWDT-B 2017 Draft Review, to get a different perspective!
Good luck to all six teams!Last edited by ogron; 04-12-2017, 06:34 PM.

Thanks for the write up ogron. Always fun to read. IMO this season mostly hinges on who shows each week and squad cohesion during the whole process. Also the EG players who joined us may be a hidden factor .. especially for Paladin. I've heard good things about dbz and unplug.. chrona is another I'm hoping does well.. all medium to low star picks for us.. We shall see. I'd like to see this TWDT season getting great turnout rates with players on each squad who ready to compete, have fun and make this an amazing season. GL to everyone!!TWDT-J CHAMPION POWER 2018
