The final week of regular season was a shameful affair, with Brexit and Paladin forfeiting both of their games. They were already out of contention, but that’s not really the point, and not showing up to play shows a lack of respect and sportsmanship.
In other news, Baratheon managed to get all of their starters to show up for once and beat Power with clear numbers, going 2-0 for the week. Terrorist was the other team to achieve a 2-0, while Power went 1-1. Alf lost both of their games, but at least they didn’t forfeit.
Brexit vs Paladin

One of the forfeit games was the 2 loser teams against each other, at least, not wasting anyone else’s time.
HOT: the Lut Desert in Iran. Or your mom. Nah, she’s old and fat.

Alf vs Terrorist
6:04 – 15:00
Terrorist terrorized Alf, winning with 80 kills and a comfortable 9-minute margin.
For whatever reason Terrorist pulled a Brexit and had 4 people sharking this game – though mr. homo apparently specced for rec fast. I’m also assuming Rasaq wasn’t in shark for long since he both went + and got a 3.0 rpd. Zeebu had trouble getting 3 reps off each death, but it doesn’t really matter since Terrorist won so clearly. Alf’s reliable shark team Beasty and Mythril continued to play well.
Warportal’s life was terminated 15 times this match, while his opponent dreamwin died only 4 times, and dispatched WP 6 times.
In spider, Shopping and not u stood out with bad play, and skyforger with the opposite, while everyone else played decently well.
HOT: dreamwin (40-4, 6 teks). A very solid terrier performance.
HOT: skyforger (85-40, 4 teks). Most kills and 4 teks, nice!
NOT: Shopping <ZH> (41-55). Oh dear. Well, he tried. At least I hope he did.
Power vs Baratheon
8:59 – 15:00
With Baratheon’s whole roster magically showing up (and not leaving mid-game) for the first time during this season, including the infamous poopjet, they easily outclassed a fumbling Power.
Once Vehicle was killed, Power seemed almost completely incapable of breaking Baratheon’s strong cram. The few times that they managed a breach, they were quickly subdued and sent back to the spawn to try again. Ogron was responsible for 4 of Vehicle’s demises.
10* spiders Cripple and Spezza led Baratheon’s spiders into a 20-kill victory over Power, with Cripple being the only one to break 100 kills this match. Top 15 underspider Dicko was the only spider on Power to kill Ogron.
HOT: hulk (18-91, 3 teks, 3.0 rpd). Showing porkjet how to shark.
NOT: Ephemeral (0-92, 2.8 rpd). On the bright side, he didn’t get any teamkills. But 0 kills. Really? More importantly, though, his timing with zid was way off.
NOT: Vehicle (26-10, 2 teks). Could’ve avoided many deaths.
NOT: beam (50-48). A lacklustre outing.
Paladin vs Baratheon

Power vs Alf

Power KO’d an impotent and utterly ineffectual Alf, that lost by 14 minutes and almost 160 kills.
Major Crisis started in terrier, but was later switched with warportal. Neither of them had any chance, running around like headless chicken in a slaughterhouse, for a total of 18 deaths.
Alf tried to pull a Terrorist (using warbird/jav to take out Vehicle) with Finnish lagmaster and anime queen turban. It backfired as he was unable to get a single kill on his target, while Power countered by WB’ing okyo, who got 6 teks on the hapless Alf terriers. It was probably a smart move to try on Alf’s part, however.
In shark, Beasty and Mythril tried their best to protect their team, but to no avail. Zid and beam both got over 3.0 rpds due to almost non-existent opposition. There’s not much to be said about spiders, except that Ephemeral, who is known as a shark, did reasonably well.
HOT: zidane (19-43, 4 teks, 3.1 rpd).
NOT: warportal (24-37). A lethargic and egregious performance, but of course, his team wasn’t there for him either.
NOT: shopping <ZH> (19-47). In his defence, I’m sure no one expected him to do any better than this.
