Been on both sides of that glitch a few times, always a good lol but not something I'd really worry about as it's extremely rare. Im glad this newbie came to his senses 24 hrs later and is now copying what I said word for word.. 🤔🤔🤔

If we removed arena lag limits (or raise them to the point that they are inconsequential) and only used the bot's lag handler to test for excessive lag, then we could distinguish between lag and an intentional spec/DC. It's possible arena lag limits have some granularity or element that bot lag limits don't, though. Not sure if anything would be lost.

I'm not sure if we can easily test for energy levels. Clients report deaths based on their tracked energy levels, which is one reason this game was so hackable before Priit's protections. It's in many cases client authoritative.

I was just going to say this with regards to

Rather than just rambling about bot problems, though, 2 concrete things I can add to the discussion:
- According to bot logs, maketso and spikey both only did !lagout one time. So there was no lagout/DC before the game started followed by !lagout after it started.
- maketso claims to have DC'd (according to his log). If he DC'd, he would have received +1 death, because this is not a spec lagout forced by the bot due to being over bot lag limits.

doesn't seem to a bot issue at all, only bad players in spec. let's see a logfile from Blind where the bot is sending out !watchnme team messages and put this one to rest.

then again, i was not there. i dont have a dog in this fight.

We just tested it with twdtj module.. If spikey wasnt in the arena and he came back with a 0-1 rec after scorereset he would have gotten 2 lagouts on the scorebox, which he hasnt.

You are really retarded here. How can Spikey with a +1 go to 10 deaths in F2? If he came back from lagout after scorereset without being in the arena, he would have gotten 2 lagouts. The bot didnt record the +1 it seems, since it just recorded with the amount of deaths he had on F2. People were claiming here that Spikey returned with a !lagout after entering arena while game started. He had to have a 0-1 rec. But that theory is false, cuz he would have had 2 lagouts on scorebox.. The bot obviously missed something.

Yea, f2 doesnt mean shit if Spikey wasnt in the arena at go. And you are right with that 41+tk+the lagout. But his lagout count doesnt make sense if Spikey wasnt in the arena. He would have had a count of 2 if he wasnt. So the theory of Spikey not being in the arena is bullshit. So obviously the bot glitched with the +1.

It has been proven that there was some sort of a bot error which resulted in some player(s) missing +1 added by the Matchbot. Under these circumstances, a bot error is crucial enough to warrant a replay regardless of the game outcome or the player in question who missed that +1 or did not. We have taken some measures to ensure that our bots would work properly in the future to avoid any new bot error or more replays during this season of TWDT. The question of allowing a replay is based entirely on the fact that there indeed was a bot error and considering TWDT to be the pro league of the zone it is better to not leave any games decided by an error or even having a doubt about the possibility of an error deciding outcome of a game.

Therefore appeal is accepted as previously written by vys and replay will happen on Sunday 26th at 2:30PM EST.
