GAME 1
Terrorist vs Spider
38-50
The game started as it should have gone on paper with Terrorist grasping to an early lead thanks to a blazing 6-1 start from Wirah. However, Charlotte refused to go silently into the night, as captain Mhz stepped in to fill in a terrible start of Violence to be the instrumental factor in turning this game around. With a strong will to claw back from behind and excellent teaming, Spider nabbed the W for a good start into Week 2. Ardour continued to bring about his turnaround performance, notching the highest kill count of the game to take the MVP. Meanwhile on the Terroristas, only olde and vys managed to hit even as the rest of their team could not keep the match competitive.
Hot: Commodo (11-5), Ardour (12-8)
Not: maketso (5-10), Violence (0-4), Wirah (8-10) Sorry bro, judging by the fact you started with 6 kills and went 2-9 the rest of the way, a Hot performance quickly fell into the Not. Better luck next time.
Power vs Demacia
50-39
Demacians started considerably strong this game, nursing a small lead early when the score was in the mid 10s by the help of a good 4-0 start from Trasher. However, Power eventually found their footing and pace for the game, as Ogron led the way with a massive score for a Power team that saw not one member KO'd. Their strategy on keeping one of the opposing strengths (Lockdown) in check proved effective, as captain Nip had no choice but to quickly find a solution as they let their lead slip away. Once ahead, Power never looked back as 3 members notched 10+ kills in a fantastic team effort. Iron did the best he could, but received little to no support from the rest of his team.
Hot: Ogron (11-4), Iron Survivor (14-10)
Not: Lockdown (1-7), Nipple Nibbler (5-10)
Pure Luck vs Treyway
45-50
Treyway captured an early lead this game and looked poised to take the W with little resistance, but started to sweat due to excellent efforts by Ricko and Spectacular. Nevertheless, trapped continued to be the driving force to keep his team rolling with yet another MVP record. Captain morph also tidied up his game to provide the necessary scoreline to support his top ranked warbird. Guaranteed a heartbreaker for Lucky Charms as all members died out 10+ minutes into the game, but they must regroup to get their groove back together.
Hot: trapped (15-8), morph (12-9), Ricko (12-10)
Not: Tiny (6-10)
Criminal vs Halo
50-45
As I said in predicted in initial DTD lines, the arrival of Legacy provided Criminal with the necessary pieces to collect themselves to work together as a team. He started with a spicy 6-1, but eventually cooled down to end with a respectable score. Zizzo and beamir provided the necessary offense to take the victory over a one-man Rough show that saw his team-carry efforts fall slightly short.
Hot: Rough (15-10), Zizzo (12-8), beam (12-8)
Not: AFRI (3-7), Tripin (6-10)
GAME 2
Terrorist vs Treyway
50-44
A true slugfest this game was, as neither team could bolster more than a 3 point lead up until the score reached the mid 40s. Terrorist found the scoring spurt at the critical time, which started with Major Crisis knocking Kira out to snowball his way into a whopping 4 KOs. Nevertheless, it was a very well-played game all around.
Hot: Myollnir (14-10), trapped (13-10), olde (12-8)
Not: Kira (5-10) Having been the first KO that gave Terrorist the crucial opening to gain an upper hand, sorry but this happens in a very close game.
Demacia vs Halo
41-50
Bouncing back from a slow start first game, Tripin showed Demacia exactly who is boss. Demacia put in quite a fight towards the very end, refusing to give in as Iron and Trasher fought 2v4. In the end, the numbers game still caught up to them as they could not rescue the game from sub-par performances from the rest of their team. With a double L in warbird this week, maybe this is a hint to Mr. Nip that he needs to consider other options than putting himself in the ship he plays the least. Another valiant effort from Trasher wasted.
Hot: Tripin (16-9), cripple (13-9), Trasher (14-10)
Not: Rough (4-10), Nipple Nibbler (5-10)
Spider vs Criminal
26-50
Not much to say here, as Spider looked like the Sacramento Kings vs either LA team out there. With revamped energy, Criminal made short work of Spider, everyone put up good scores, and even previous disappointment Beast almost broke even (Lol XD). Captain Mhz was the only one to hit even, but the rest of his team simply.....blew up.
Hot: Zizzo (14-4), Geio (11-4)
Not: aprix (3-10), Rojo (3-10)
Power vs Pure Luck
50-38
Having been one of the two teams to notch a 2-0 record for Week 2, Power kept the ball rolling as they trampled a lost Pure Luck team. Ogron continued his massive performance with another A+ scoreline, and his team followed behind him to take the victory. Only Attacks managed to put up fair numbers, but having only one player in the green is not the answer unless they score 20+.
Hot: Ogron (13-3), Attacks (12-10)
Not: Tiny (4-10), Spectacular (5-10)
WEEK 2 MVP: OGRON (11-4) (13-3)
Mention:
Zizzo (12-8) (14-4)
Trapped (15-8) (13-10)
RUNNING COUNTER OF MVPS:
Week 1: Zapata (10-5) (16-8)
Week 2: Ogron
