After the results have completed for Week 3, overall standings have also been solidified for the FA draft order. Thought I'd spark some talk in who falls where with some slight explanation. Message to captains: This is by no means intended to sway your own perspective in who to pick, just some thoughts in who is still available when your draft pick comes and who would benefit each team in the greatest way. And with the recent addition of a few big names, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out next week. Putting down a prediction just for every team's first pick in the FA. (Not factoring in the possibility of trading away draft picks)
1) STEADMAN goes to DEMACIA (0/1/3)
Simply said, this team is LOST. Still a big round doughnut in the warbird column with a no-show 10*, and collapsing Week 3 with a 0-6. Nipple must look for ways to rebuild, and it all starts here as Stead is the best player currently on the FA list.
2) RODNEY to PURE LUCK (1/4/1)
Singer doesn't really provide any benefits to Tiny in this position, unless he's picking him to give some trading credibility. However, as a first pick Rodney can perhaps add more strength to the basing lineup having a shark duo of Mark and Rodney and relocating Rab back to spider, as it will be difficult to qualify for playoffs with only one strong division.
3) SINGER to CRIMINAL (3/3/1)
Showing new signs of life with a spectacular 4-2 Week 3, Criminal looks to keep that momentum rolling. Their warbird lineup is already fairly decent, and with the addition of Singer to the javelin team Criminal is a much formidable opponent in the first two leagues. With FA expecting them to qualify as a low seed.
4) CAOS to SPIDER (2/4/3)
If the previous picks fall into place, this one is a no-brainer. After a suspected intentional tank to get a better FA draft pick, the addition of Caos may help Spider notch some warbird wins over the likes of Pure Luck and Demacia, but the addition of another strong spider (heh see what I did there) would make them much stronger for basing.
5) RASAQ to TERRORIST (4/2/4)
In case someone like dreamwin fails to show again, Terrorist will excellent options with the acquisition of all-shipper Rasaq.
6) CREATURE to HALO (4/3/4)
Having made a return a few weeks ago playing a DD, he showed that he still got it in ship 1. As a fair mid-star player in the other divisions as well, could very well be the pick selection here.
7) KENTARO to TREYWAY (5/3/4)
This is getting to the point where captains have to take their pick out of the litter of inactive veterans that decided to sign up to play a game or two. Comparatively to the likes of Maito (who was a complete no-show last season) and Poseidon, Kent would have to be the pick here.
8) POSEIDON to POWER (5/4/4)
After a big 6-0 Week 3, Power doesn't exhibit any clear weaknesses in their lineups as each division has notched at least 2/3 wins. This pick would probably be "the best out of the rest" kind of deal. Could very well be Maito_chi here too. And note to yeH...I didn't forget you, but as a javelin main I don't expect you to be picked in the first set as each team (aside from those top of the pick order) have decent javelin compositions all around.
