Ahoy! There's way more base games going than DD/JD when I'm on, only been able to play a few and I'm getting wrecked by 8s and 9s in wbs. I think I should probably be a 7/7/8 at this point with how rusty I am. Whatever you all decide is fine though.

since we are going off of previous TWL standards and performances for other players and their ratings.

I'd probably put myself at 6/6/6 having been inactive, losing most previous twdraft games, and being on "worst player" write ups multiple times. I don't want to penalize the poor team captain who drafts me.

The most fucked up part of this thread, by far, was MHz calling me a nice guy. Seriously? It's like you don't even know me.

In all seriousness, my rating is fine (although I genuinely appreciate the support Poseidon). I would argue about somehow being a 7* in 2 leagues I haven't played in 10 years, but if I ever got added in a dtd or dtj, my team is already screwed.

If anybody gets so desperate as to draft me, I do have a sick wife, a new house being built, a Sunday (usually later nights) soccer league, and Efhat's facebook to stalk, so I'll do my best to show up when I can but there's no guarantee from me. Nobody cares about a lowly 7* schedule, but I'd rather be upfront about it.

My thoughts on players cited more than once :



WARBIRD

Best 9 -> 10 : YES. Why was he reduced to 9?

Docomo 6 -> 7 : NO. I suspect him to be Falconeer but not sure. Again if we place our "new" players directly to a 7* position, we burn them imo.

Mythril 10 -> 9 : NO. Let's be serious.



JAVELIN

Mythril 9 -> 8 : YES. I'm convinced by things I read. Plus if Mythril is on a bad form, reducing his jav rating is the only way to help without rigging the league.

Stayon 9 -> 8 : YES. But I never saw this javelin hehe. Too much good javelins at 9, this is the division with the harshest rating, and same as for Mythril.



BASE

Best 7 -> 8 : YES. I have no memories of her basing skillz but I bet that 7 is way too low for that kind of player.

Mythril 10 -> 9 : NO. More debatable than for warbird, but still a big no for me, way too good.

Poni 8 -> 7 : NO. He can reach very good performances in both spider and shark.

Shadowmere 8 -> 9 : NO. He was a 7 last season and did good despite the loss, but 9 would be a punishment imo.

Spacedust 7 -> 8 : YES. Just watch last finals if it is recorded, I think Ogron remember.

Stayon 10 -> 9 : NO. Must have saw him like once so I don't know, but if it's just a question of computer then it's stupid. What if the guy buy a new computer mid-season? Stupid argument. Regulary cited as most powerful spider alongside Cripple and Megaman89, cannot be under 10 imo.

Hey man, I can totally understand being a bad overall baser with zero achievements after 15 years of playing and succumbing to this weird inferiority complex you've clearly developed, but no matter how much you try to beef yourself up on forums by talking shit, you'll always be that newbie from TeKs who sucks at every single basing ship, you're not fooling anyone.

Pressure Beef myself up on forums? I offer my opinion because I am one of the most active basers in trenchwars. I am just doing my part to try to help out. I will never be a 10* player I never said I would. However just because I never made a serious attempt at TWL does not mean I don't know my way around the flag room. The only time I tried for some kind of medal we made it to finals in DT-B with Win or Die. You were a nobody when I stopped playing and since I have come back for about a year all I have seen you do is suck ass in BD so that is where my opinion comes from. Not the 7 years I stopped playing where you may have won something. I mean you even called yourself thix, how small of a penis do you really have? Check your ego kid.

P.S. I benched my way to one DT-J medal, I didn't earn it but it's there not zero achievements!

Lol, Pressure trying to argue himself into a higher rating has been my favourite part of this thread so far.

One thing I'd say re: Stayon and Mythril on their base ratings. I think it's reasonable to expect Mythril to get back to a 10* shark level quite quickly... i.e. the level of Mcvicar. Reason being it's quite easy to get into a flow state with shark after a few minutes of basing. Because of the high death rate you have natural breaks and thus the opportunity to rebalance your style. Not forgetting that each star rating has a 20% variance.

Conversely, spidering at the highest level is pretty sharp, requires high kills but also strategic aggression and the exploitation of fine margins. Stayon has had a child, has been afk for 2+ years and is not on his usual setup. So think 9* is right for him. I don't think he's currently on the same level as cripple, jamal or ease from what I've seen. Unless he magically gets a new computer and we see him grinding TWBDs every night, I don't think that.

Where did I try to argue for a higher rating? Does it even go higher than 10?

If those are the standards we are setting because historically players were known to perform like you are saying Myth and Stayon are,

Best should be 10/9/8 or 10/10/8. Arguably 9 in basing considering he drops 100+ in spider every time he bases.
Since we aren’t taking inactivity into consideration or rust.

Obviously I’m not the only one who knows Best shouldn’t be at 9/9/7 (lol).

I would like to thank Turban and Rough for articulating so beautifully how bad I am in jav and how useless I was for Rage. I agree. Also thanks to Kassius for eloquently stating how unimpressed he was with my warbird when we went toe to toe. I'm with you.

My ratings are a bit high in every league, most notably jav. I would say there are clearly several players who have much better value than me with my current ratings and hopefully captains know that before blowing their crucial FA pick on me. I'll play for whichever cap and give it my all. Just understand that I'm currently getting slammed in TWDD by spider web and I'm negging overall in TWJD. To the captains, if that's the spot you need filled on your roster at the price of a near perfect player, I'm your guy.
