Welcome to Week 4 Overachiever discussion. As with last week, fewer games means fewer opportunities to shine. However, there were just too many great performances this week to narrow it down to 2. With that said, lets jump into the players:
For warbird, this week's nomination goes to zidane. In a battle of featuring the two winningest TWDT captains of all time, zidane justified his number 1 overall pick in his weakest division. As one of the lowest rated (8*) players in the match, zid MVP'd with 14 kills, including 8 from R3 and 2 critical KOs. This was Kobe's first TWDTD victory, which will help immensely as the lookout for playoff qualification begins.
With our first nomination going to a baser in warbird, its appropriate that our second nominee is a warbird in a basing ship. Best delivered a standout performance as terrier, with a show-stealing 51-6 and a TeK too! His first terring try this season snagged Kobe their second win of the season, avenged their week 3 4-second loss to helmet, and landed himself #6 on the TWDTB terr ladder.
Finally, I couldn't not give a shoutout to rabbit! Though his team fell to Best's mighty terring, rabbit's captain dreamwin couldn't ask for more from the 6* than his stellar 78-60 (1 TeK!). In terms of simply overachieving, nothing is more impressive than a 6* making their debut in such a big fashion. TJ Hazuki described rabbit's playstyle as "an annoying undermin, but I deeply respect all he's accomplished in such a short time."
