Welcome to the final S26 installment of Overachiever of the Week. This weekend featured some dramatic performances to seal playoff appearances. Let's look at a few key difference makers:
First we have hulk in warbird. Hulks 12-7 with 4 KOs was the first bold step in Helmet's last attempt for a playoff bid. While they didn't end up making it (barely- a win in base would've given them the needed wins to qualify), 8* hulk almost single-handedly knocking out all of r1p1t1 was a crucial first step and worthy of commendation.
Second, as an 8.5*, Skatarius threw down a 14-8 in javelin, with 3 KOs, including both of the opponents 10* javelins. Skat's captain Morph also put up a devastating 17-10, but was knocked out of the game at the 17 minute mark. From there, Skatarius set the tempo for his team and secured the win over Kobe.
Finally we have MerceDe$ in spider. As a 7*, MerceDe$ filled beautifully for Gryffindor's otherwise high-starred spider line, notching a 61-51 record and 2 TeKs (against one of the hardest to kill terriers in the game!) That win secured Gryffindor first seed in TWDTB and the best score overall this season.
