Time has come (feels like forever) to enter the playoff phase of this very long tournament and we got some exciting matchups. Let's see how our teams lineup and what could be the outcome:

[B]R1p1t1![/B] (4 wins in main season) vs [B]Nigthmare [/B](1 wins)
Rapid season can be split into 2 parts. They were really struggling with their jav lineup in the beginning of season, as many predicted from team that couldnt even fill 42*. But after trades and FA draft, their season has been turned around. They went on 4 win streak, that was finally ended by Outlaw during last week of main season. Violence has always moneyballed in draft leagues and not really cared about ratings, but rather if people are underrated and it has worked well. Which is why it is not surprising their starting lineup only fields 41.5 stars altogether. For several weeks, Commodo, mikkiz, jurassic, bugy and jz are preferred starters and this most likely continues in playoffs as well.
Nightmare is by far the worst jav team out there and only made it to playoffs due to very strong wb/base performance. They are forced to use 10.5* steadman, which limits compiling rest of team and they have not really clicked at all. Everyone apart from steadman has negative KPD, and with 10.5* player in and no real underrated low stars they have struggle finding place for mythril, roiwerk both in lineup. Their match vs rapid in main season also ended in very convincing 34-50 loss, so it is difficult to find positive signs for GenX team in this matchup.
My prediction [B][U]R1p1t1! wins[/U] (2-0)[/B]. Vios team have been strong and stable in jav with entire lineup competent and with no weak links. It is difficult to see them losing to nightmare.
[B]Treyway [/B](3 wins) vs Kobe(3 wins)
Treyway started season strong with 2 wins, but then went on horrible streak of losses until very last game of main season. What is definitely a positive sign is that team they did beat in last round, was actually their quarterfinal opponent Kobe. Treyway struggles in jav hav been somewhat similar to what they have been going in wb. So poorly performing low-star players, struggling to find working lineup and hot/cold superstars. Good example is loss vs Rapid, where they used 3 different 6.5 players (frozen throne, product, groan), all failing to get a single kill, honcho and rylo havent really faired better. So getting saiyan and morph together on freq does not to work, if there is clearly no options for low vps. In last main season game, skatarius pulled a great game, time will tell if they can replicate it and kill Kobe off in jav as well as wb.
Kobes hectic season has been visible in jav as well. Altogether 12! different players have been used, some good wins, but also some embarrassing losses. Besides zidane and best, everyone on team is 8* or lower, so their performance needs to be on high level, but it really has not been more often than not. Also in last weeks no 8*s have been also available, which makes freqs even more unbalanced, often leading zidane and best facing entire opponent squad in late phase of game. So this matchup will be decided on pretty much same thing. How mid/low star players on both squads show up and what kind of performance they can pull and if they can survive until last phase of game.
My prediction [U][B]Kobe[/B][B][U][B] wins[/B][/U] (2-1)[/B][/U]. In jav, i really have much more confidence in our team pulling it out, very close matchup, but we will revenge of losing in wb.
