Just a heads-up. I have some sick lag and have not been able to fix it for over a week. A new device is connected to my wireless and I am getting spikes every few minutes.

I'd suggest logging into your modem using your IP address. Typically unless you changed it, the the username/password is something like admin/admin for both. You can find your specific IP address in your internet settings if you aren't sure. Once you log into your router, you can see not only what exactly is connected to your router, but you can also kick it off, block it and change the Wifi address/password. When I lived in the big city, I always kept my Wifi hidden, which is typcially another option you can set.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for you. Hope you find a fix!
