    I just had a 6 pack of this stuff, i'm mildly pleased with it, after the first 2 in about half an hour, i had a good head buzz going on. But the third one, i decided to do an analyses. The taste sort of reminds me of steamwhistle (canadian, Local Toronto Beer) but it had a distinct after taste, i can't relaly compare it to any other beer i've had before. My frind and I decided we will try it again, and think about it some more.

    After the 6 pack was gone, we had to make do with what we had leftover from last weekend, a 6 pack of Corona, 4 Moosehead, and double bottle of Corona (the one from the gift set).

    Anyways, back to the Hemp beer, it's named Buzz beer. Here's the caption from the bottle:

    Surprisingly Australia doesnt have that kind of beer. So i cant taste it...

      EDIT: realised i was wrong, i havent heard of Hemp Beer, anyone know where I can find some over here in England?

        I'm willing to bet that feeling you got from drinking it (aside from the normal beer buzz) was psychosomatic. Hemp doesn't have enough THC in it to give you a buzz while smoking it, so why would that change in beer? All you get from smoking hemp is a headache, even the "finest B.C. hemp".


        If you want something that will get you drunk and will give you a buzz, make some green dragon.

        The directions, because I'm bored:
        One may extract the active ingredients from marijuana using alcohol and then use this tincture to make a potent drink. The highest proof alcohol available should be used, preferably 190 proof grain alcohol, since the water in the alcohol will dissolve other chemicals in the marijuana that one wishes to avoid. Some suggest soaking the grass in warm water for a period to remove those chemicals but that presents a whole host of other problems and is not really recommended. One may simply place the marijuana into a bottle of grain alcohol and let the canabanoids leach out, but this takes 2-3 weeks of time. A faster method is to heat the alcohol to sub-boiling and stir in the marijuana. Great deal of care should be taken if this method is chosen as the alcohol is highly flammable. The resulting tincture, often called "Green Dragon", is a light to emerald green liquid, which can be drunk straight, but this is not recommended. Highly lauded is a drink of 3 parts lemon lime soda, 1 part green dragon and a dollop of honey served over ice.
