If you're so insistant on using this vehicular analogy, the makers of P2P software aren't getaway car drivers, they're driving the city bus. If someone robs a bank, stuffs a bunch of money in their backpack, and hops on a city bus, that doesn't make the bus driver liable for anything. Lol we are kinda over this but i will play along, the role of the city bus driver isnt to be a getaway but just to transport people. The getawar car driver's sole/main purpose is to provide a getaway. Like i think Kazaa's main purpose is to provide illegal songs.

The problem with the analogies you made a couple of posts ago is that you're attaching the role of the "bad guy" to Kazaa, and then used your analogy to show that they should be punished because they are the bad guys. Your reasoning is circular.

Kazaa sucks now, its great when you're a newbie cause you are like "OMFGZORZ, this is fucking great! i can download whavever the shit I want" but then you move on to more 'advanced' programs such as BitTorrent and mIRC- these are much better for new releases

i think you just are using a crappy client, i use azureus and can get up to 600k/sec downloads on average
