Yeah beware of DoCk> he makes you feel like you bought the most worthless piece of shit just because you didin't spend $5000 on it, but it does what you need it to do so that's good to hear. I'm still using my semi decent p4 2.0ghz 60 gb hd running 744 mb of sd ram.

at UT at austin, hobos sell shit for cheap, like bike rims and stuff. i tried to find out how.

what happens is the hobos wait till a biker chains his bike up, then they disassemble it and carry the parts.

theyre's bike frames all over UT austin

Keep the receipt so you can return it and buy 2 computers without the flashy lights and ricing for the same price.

              To RAGE:

Having invested in a similar system, you are either
a.) someone with some sort of insane hook up at a hardware/software endor. (you barely come in at cost with that system)
b.) are talking out of your ass.

Care to share how you put this system together.

                This is no joke

Hoju was correct, newegg.com was the main source for my parts.
My asus motherboard and celeron processor I got online for a steal, both prices combined was only around 150 bucks, but heres a list of the prices(mostly that I can remember)

                Asus motherboard:$50 - newegg.com
                2.6ghz Celeron processor: $90 - newegg.com
                256 radeon graphics card: $80 - newegg.com
                80gig harddrive: $60 - Best Buy
                512RAM: $80 - Best Buy
                CD/RW drive: $10 - Best Buy
                DVD Drive: $30 - PC Gold(local store)
17" Monitor: free, already had one
Wireless Keyboard/mouse: $25(retailed for 90 bucks, bargained for it at computer swap)

And there you have it, i also bought a 60 dollar custom glass CPU case with neon lights, very stylish
If you look around, you too can be a cheap bastard like me, with computer parts, the saying "you get what you pay for" is not true at all because you can really find quality parts for sometimes dirt cheap. I have found no problems with my comp so far...
                ...sooo far
1:Sensitive> i hit a family of ducks the other day on the high way

Anyone seen those cheap computer towers on eBay?

Its like a really fast clock and tons of RAM but the average price they go for is around £300-£400.

Is this a scam or some shit?
