I have some questions. where do you get the kickas start button and graphics from? how do I install it to my pc? what are those programs like eclipse you have on your desktop.

XP Skins? You might be thinking of visual styles, if so then here's how to get:

1. Get StyleXP and install
2. Find a Visual Style you like somewhere, like @ ThemeXP.org
(for example the one I use is Blackcomb Pro <--will not auto-download, it's a preview page)

Which one do I download? A bunch of them say its Free Trial, so I don't wanna download something that's gonna stop operation after a couple weeks.

i don't use style xp..

the purpose of those programs is to allow you to use third party themes on the microsoft theming interface.

instead i used a batch file to hack the registry allowing uncertified styles to be loaded. style xp works, though...
