None of those are even close to the same, besides the book one. A song is maybe 4 minutes long on average. A film is maybe 2 hours at the most. A game like FF7 takes you a good 30-40 hours to finish, and requires effort to enjoy where a movie or book you just sit there and watch/read. I don't think many people should have so much free time that they can play a 40 hour game over and over...

You can stop and play it whenever you like. Sometimes takes me months to finish it. You don't have to sit there and play it for the whole 40 hours.

If you played a 40 hour game five times, that's only 200 hours. Think about your ?usage, and then rethink what you said. ;]

The fact that there is effort to enjoy a game (compared to a movie) is part of the reason to play them again. The effort itself is fun, if it wasn't, it wouldn't be a very good game, and not worth it to even play the first time, much less the second.

I played Legend of Zelda, wind waker when I came home late at night during summer, it kept me up for an extra 3-4 hours every night. That shit got inside my head, I had wind wakerish dreams.

I have in fact gotten every ending in Chrono Trigger AND Chrono Cross...

Some of the Chrono Trigger ones were barely different from each other though...

1. I tried but they aren't fun. americas army, splinter cell and such. I think it's because of the unbeatable social value of this game, and the fact that it's easy to learn and hard to master.
2. don't have the time. Some ppl don't have a life though so that's ok

the last game I played more was hearts of iron, that was fun
it took too long to play though (as did silent storm which my brother plays 24/7). The good thing with continuum is that you can play it for five minutes or for the whole day
